6'1" and 1/2 at 183 is big for a cornerback. That is an official weight not the junk you usually see released by teams or agents. He is 183 but hasn't been in big time strength programs. He has great overall ability and played big yesterday. He simply went up and took the ball away at the highest point from Lavelle Hawkins who was the best WR on the field yesterday.

Those questioning Cromartie should stop. He looks eerily similar to his half-brother. He is a solid starter.
183 is small for the nfl. If he was 200 then "big" would be a good description. 183 not in the slightest. I do like the guy, just don't call him what he is definitely not.

You gotta like the depth in this draft at CB and RB, two of our three biggest needs. I'm glad we don't need alot of help on the Oline or front 7, because this draft just doesn't have it there.

He really impressed in the Senior Bowl yesterday.

He showed that he has the speed to deflect or cut off quick out routes. Had a great vertical and looked like the reciever going up for his interception. My favorite play by him though was the way he planted and drove about 8 yards on a short pass and tackled him as soon as the ball got there.

Those are all things that a NFL corner needs to be able to do. I would put him in the first round deffinately and Im sure the combine will only raise his stock. With all the corners available I hope that our coaches can bring them all in and see which one would fit our team best. The talent is there with most of the DB's it will be finding the right one.

Great point natedawg. The depth at RB and CB is greatly in our favor in the draft, lets hope we get quality guys at those spots.:star:

Unless Jerry does something stupid, we should be able to get 3 quality players at our need positions of CB/WR/RB. Also, the Cowboys draft board will break down which players we want and when but our needs might dictate we stray a little w/o overreaching.

So if McKelvin and Felix Jones are both there (unlikely) when our 22nd pick comes up, who do we take?
If we draft a CB with 22nd pick, should Jerry consider trading our 28th pick (if no one worthy of 28th pick interests us) so we have much higher 2nd & 3rd picks giving us better opportunity to get other players at need positions we covet? Such a trade would give us 5 picks in the first 3 rounds instead of the 4 we currently have.
