How can a school with the money and facilities that Texas A&M has

Easy. Facilities and the college having a bunch of money doesn't mean anything when it comes to winning.

You've got to have talent to win. A&M doesn't have that cause no one wants to go to A&M unless it's the only offer they've got. They'd rather go to Texas or Tech or OU or LSU or wherever.

This is simply false. Coming off a 4-8 season last year, A&M still brought in the #22 class in the nation. A&M currently has the #12 ranked class in the country this year with a good chance to move into the top 10 by February. We've had a top 25 recruiting class every year since the inception of the internet recruiting services in 2002, including two top 10 classes.

A&M currently has 72 scholorship players on the team who had at least one other offer from the 4 schools you mentioned, 35 that had offers from at least two, 18 that offers from at least 3, and 5 that had offers from all 4.

A&M is the most underachieving program in the country. Nobody does less with more.

A&M fails on so many levels. You can judge recruiting anyway you want. Fact is, they fail there too. Texas high school players, shouldn't be going to Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, or Arkansas if they don't get into Texas or TCU. Matter of fact, they should go to A&M BEFORE TCU. It's a better school. (and that is coming from someone who considers TCU his college football team of choice!)

A&M hasnt lost a recruiting battle with TCU in years, and most of the guys who leave Texas for out of state schools had offers from Tech and UT as well as A&M. Texas loses a lot of recruiting battles with Stoops, Saban and Miles.

Your argument makes no sense

The a&m AD should read, then reread this article from SI and get back to what they did best.

If they were smart, which is kinda an oxymoron when talking aggy, they'd go get Ian Shields from Army.
