It was Taylor that picked up the ball after the kick right?
We could have tackled him back where we were kicking the ball.... instead it seemed like our team was leading him down the field.. .they were in front of him... did they not know where the ball was?

Part of the problem is that most of the players on the field were offensive players, not guys who usually make tackles. And I'm sure most of them thought all they had to do was keep Taylor from scoring a touchdown. If there hadn't been a facemasking penalty, the fourth quarter would have been over. So they weren't necessarily trying to tackle him as soon as possible, they were playing "prevent" just to keep him from scoring.

Dogg, at that point Taylor was playing streetball and moving off adreneline. He made a great play and the face mask was bogus.

Game would not have been over... would have went into overtime.

Add to that the fact that the offensive line is blocking with its back to the ball.

So when the ball is blocked, it's the Commanders, who are facing the ball, who react. The Cowboys are, for the most part, still on the ground underneath other Skins who are trying to keep them there and prevent them from getting the ball or back into the play.

Taylor was also an all state running back in the State of Florida....

To add to Adam's statement.. not only is it offensive players on the Field Goal team, its primarily offensive linemen and not ATHLETE players. You've got almost ALL linemen on the field except for the 2 ends, the holder, and the kicker.

Inside sources tell me they were afraid Taylor would spit on them if they tried to tackle him.

I still have no idea why that was a 15 yard penalty. That should have only been 5 yards.

Your sig pic is pretty gay man. No offense intended... by why would you plaster a huge picture of a shirtless dude up like that?

Obviously. I just meant that time would have run out, and it wouldn't have mattered how far Taylor returned it.

Are you a homophob?

A homophob is someone who can't handle gay people.

I'm just one that would prefer not to have to scroll thru a gawd awful picture.

If whoever facemasked that punk would have just ripped his head off instead of letting go, it wouldn't be an issue.
