How come we didn't rip at the ball today?

Aside from the first drive, the defense looked really good today. The chiefs started on our side of the field I can't count how many times. I am curious though, why weren't we ripping a the ball like we did the first game? It's something we emphasize in this defense with these coaches and I don't recall seeing an attempt even once. If our offense keeps stalling like this were going to need a lot more turnovers from this defense

Sometimes ripping at the ball can cause missed tackles. If you can gang tackle the ballcarrier, it's easier to get somebody in there to rip it out.
