How concerned would you be if the Eagles beat the Packers next Sunday

That is the last challenging game the Eagles have before they play us on Thanksgiving Day so to see them beat a GB team with Rodgers would scare the hell out of me. I do have comfort in knowing that the Eagles defense already lost to teams with QB's on the road who are not as good as Rodgers which was Kap and Palmer. So there should be no reason why GB can't beat this eagles team at home this weekend. Also the Eagles defense is giving 25 pts a game on the road so this has to be a loss.

If it's not will you be concerned about the Cowboys facing a 9-2 Eagles on Thanksgiving Day?

I will be very scared and need Aaron Rodgers to cool them down lol

I wouldn't be concerned a bit.

The only way this team is going to get any measure of recognition is to beat the best

..when ever the opportunity presents it's self.

Dallas needs to square off and beat Philly from the first snap.

Punch Philly right in the face like they did NO and Seattle.

Then punch them some more.

Backing in..

Putting up 30 minutes In a 60 minute game ain't going to cut it.

This team needs to play for each other and needs to ignore the plundits and doomsayers.

Do that and they win every game they really want to.

This team has proven they have the talent.

They have not proven they want it bad enough.

We'll see.

If they keep the defense off Romo..

there is a very good chance they can really compete.

After that..it's any bodies guess what happens.

Surprise me..Cowboys.

Im very concerned regardless of whether they win or not. They had a good offense and added a just as big or bigger threat then Jackson was. We are going to have our hands full with their passing game, running game as well as backs catching passes out of the backfield

Mathews is lighting it up. The run game doesn't scare me one bit. They use their weapons in the backfield well in the passing attack.

The thing is we know what to expect from their brand of football. Their screens don't fool us and McCoy's predictable cut back run will be expected and contained.

Really tired of these Eagle concern threads. You would think they are the 2007 Pats or something. Not concerned if they win lose or draw against Packers because we have two head to head matchups with them. If we lose both or didn't play them anymore this year then yes I would be concerned but since we do I'm not concerned.

Not so much concerned about our chances, only kinda pissed that the pack couldn't handle them, because they are not all that,
but the fact of it is, is that they have not played the >Cowboys yet this year so they are going to be surprised at how GOOD this team is!

And there is going to be 2 birds in trouble at my house come Thanksgiving!!

we can literally win all our remaining games by simply not turning the ball over

every loss is a direct result of turnovers. There is no game left on our schedule we should lose without a -2 or more turnover disparity.

Most of the time we split with the Eagles, don't recall either team sweeping the other very much. Even last year, our only divisional loss was to Philly. Maybe 2009 was the last time we swept the Eagles?

Point is that it is very hard to sweep division rivals, doesn't happen all that often.....................so we probably split with Philly again this year, meaning that they are still a game infront of us......................we are going to need some help from somebody.

it's one game at a time. we can pretty much agree that the eagles have a very good defense. but are they better than the dallas offense?

chip kelly has a good offensive scheme - but now they will have to rely on sanchez to direct that scheme. maclin has been awesome but the usually reliable l. mccoy has been underwhelming of late.

the eagles are ripe for the taking. so are the cowboys to be takers this season - or givers?

stay tuned.

Gotta admit, I'm concerned about our chances of beating the Eagles whether they beat GB or not. Their offense is potent and defensively, their passrush and blitz packages are troublesome, to say the least. I'm not suggesting we can't compete on an equal plane with them but I honestly believe we'll be obliged to produce our A-game to do so.

It is what it is. If they beat GB then we need to roll up our sleeves and get the job done.

Them beating the Packers means nothing to me. Until they beat us - convincingly I might add - I'm not worried.

Even that. They might win. But if they do, it won't be a blowout. They would have to take us to the woodshed in all three phases and win by multiple scores for me to start wringing my hands.

Turnovers are a part of the game, it's not reasonable to think that the Cowboys are not going to turn the ball over for the remaining 6 games.

I will be just as concerned about Philly if the lose to GB. That is going to be a big game and like them or not Philly has been playing good ball and winning. It is going to be a dog fight, (don't tell Vick)

No more, no less. We gotta beat the Eagles so it really doesn't matter who they beat. We just have to win.

Every team is different. That's why you see some teams look like world beaters one week and the next, they get done in by a team you never thought would have a chance. Specific to the Packers, They are a so-so rushing team. They throw the ball well. We are an excellent running team, we throw the ball well (depending on who is QB). Success against Green Bay doesn't mean the Eagles will match up well against us.

Agreed, I think we need to go 4-2 in order to secure the division and beat the eagles at least once out of the two games.

I'm not sure GB is that good . Look at who've they beat . Bears twice , jets , Vikings, Carolina , Miami . Let's look at common opponents : Seattle and Saints both teams we've dominated and they lost !

Put it this was if we had green bays schedule we'd be 9-1 at this point .

Great question given that Rodgers is nearly unbeatable at home but not too worried. Divisional matchups are different/GB's D is not too great/ and they're based on Rodgers arm whereas our style leads to sidelining their offense. Different game all together.

This.
Phillys D has improved this year so they are better and their ST and offense with Sproles is a concern. I think we split with philly and believe it or not I think we beat them at the link and they beat us on TG since we play better away and home field evidently does not help us much. Ultimately I think we get into the dance since there are a lot of division games left in the other conferences as well as our own.
Only concern I have at this point is keeping TRomo upright and not playing a playoff game in GB. All else will hopefully take care of itself.
