How did Cole Beasley go undrafted?

He's small, not all that fast and played against lower level competition.

Hmmmm, same could be said about Wes Welker. I dont see the harm in giving him a shot in the slot. Or even returning kicks, he looks pretty agile to me.

Well, he will have a large enough opportunity. I really feel Radaway and Coale are going to push Ogletree off the roster as early as the first cuts this summer in TC.

I really had high hopes for Ogletree at one time. Its too bad he fizzled out the way he did. I think Coale and this kid look a lot alike though.

Both can play, I like Coale to not only make the team but to make significant contribution yr.1

I think Coale will be our slot receiver this year, easy.

He didnt go undrafted, we drafted him. The real question is, how did kellen moore go undrafted for 7 rounds?

We didnt draft him, we signed him after the draft.

Moore is just under 5'11" teams are scared that hes too short to see through NFL sized lines.

I hope he makes the best out the chances he gets because Id like to see him make the roster or the PS.

oh yeah my bad we got him in FA, probably the same reason as Moore, hes too small.

Wow, obviously I skipped over where this guy is only 5'8". Hell be a returner at best. I was thinking 5'10" small.

I'm not going to count out Ogletree. The guy clearly has NFL-level skills.

If he gets mentally on track, I could see him making the roster again ... but it's a big if.

I do expect Coale to beat him out for the third-receiver role because Coale appears to run great routes and is reliable, but Ogletree probably is the better athlete.

From that standpoint, I hope he gets it together because he can be an impact player.

Both Va Tech guys. KO's less than a jag. Now he will watch a less similarly talented Hokie take his spot and will be able to do nothing about it. Coale's a player.

Welker played in the Big 12, didn't he?

Beasley also came from one of those spread offenses so I think he's going to have to work on running more traditional routes.

The things I like about him are that he seemed tough, good runner after the catch, fearless over the middle and does a good job of running through the football.

I think he would need a year on the PS to work on routes as he really rounds things off quite a bit but maybe that was the style they wanted in that offense.
