How did Deion do September/October?

Well, he wasn't much on the baseball field but he was a big draw.

Like, how did he manage having to do both? Conflicts?

It seems a lot like having two different office jobs in two different states that both work 9-5. How do you do it? Even if you had a private jet, it'd be pretty hard to pull off.

Deion was decent baseball player but was a natural at CB, he in my view is the best cover corner I have ever seen.

Greatest athlete there ever was.

Maybe except Bo. But then Bo didnt play that long.

Sorry i just cant help myself. Had to. post my opinion. Even if it actually is OT a bit.

Same here, he was incredible.
Mercenary or not, Larry Brown probably owes him his undeserved SB MVP. There's a reason #2 corners on great defenses tend to get a lot of picks. Especially when the QB treats a guy like Deion (modern prototypes: Revis, Sherman) like the Ebola hot zone.

the two sports only conflicted for him in the postseason, if i remember correctly (i was also pretty young), but he did it. Mostly he'd sacrifice one sport for the other. He never played one football game in the day and then played baseball at night. He came close to doing it once, though. for an NLCS game i think he played with the falcons in the day then flew to the baseball game at night but he didnt play. I think the only time baseball took precedent over an NFL game was when the braves were in the world series.

I wasn't alive in his prime. I'm honestly very curious.

Why September/October? From what I recall after he left, Deion was said to be disruptive during meetings and on the practice field. Aikman had zero respect for him or his sloppy practice habits. The only reason it mattered was because Neon wanted to be a two way player. You probably don't remember the commercial with JJ and Neon... "what's it gonna be, offense or defense"... answer.... both. You probably don't remember Aikman either. Troy was all business all the time. For me neither Neon or TO were legit Cowboys

i dont think hes asking about it in terms of with how it effected the cowboys. i think he means how did he juggle playing baseball and football at the same time in his career in general. September and October is when football and baseball overlap.
