Eberflus defense gives up 34 points against the Chargers while he is sitting up high in the press box , do you think he will be able to save his job or does Jerry fire him .And will Schottenheimer get to hire his defensive coordinator, or will Jerry keep doing things his way.When his way has not worked very well.

Eberflus has not improved at all since week one of this miserable season, and this is the worst defense I have seen in 20 years. This guy is a complete failure as a defensive coordinator, worse than Ol hot sauce Nolan and that is saying something.

Or maybe send them to an optometrist you know wasn't that the excuse that Jameis Winston used that the reason he was throwing interceptions I don't think he's improved that much but he does have Lasik now and I believe he wears contacts or something of both it didn't help but maybe that's what Matt needs to do...

Pretty well. Good Post, and very funny. I don’t think I will ever understand why Eberflus blitzes his front 7 in the 3 game winning streak. Only to go back to his same lousy no pressure scheme and zone secondary and then lose 3 in a row it was a bit of a tease, and just got my hopes up for a wildcard spot in the playoffs. I will not be happy if Jerry brings Back Eberflus next season.

Someone on social media made an excellent point. Look at every one of the defensive players that were here last year. Sam Williams, Osa Odighizuwa, Marist Liufau, DeMarvion Overshown, Trevon Diggs, DaRon Bland, Malik Hooker, Donovan Wilson, Markquese Bell, and anyone else I am missing.

Now, tell me which one of them performed better in Eberflus' scheme as opposed to Zimmer or Quinn.

I totally agree this guy might be a Linebackers coach; I mean that is what they say right. Well, I will tell you this he is not a defensive coordinator. His attention to detail coaching is terrible, he can't scheme a blitz when you need to dial up pressure when you need it. And I am still waiting for Eberflus to teach these defensive backs to turn their heads around while defending a pass. If these defensive backs would turn their heads around and look for the ball, they would be less likely to get a pass interference call against them. Plus, they may be able to get an interception, these are fundamentals Eberflus can't even teach the basic fundamentals of the game. It is a bit embarrassing if you ask me.

Eberflus has been so bad, he's become a positive now. Flus is doing great work for the draft guys.
