Just watched the first half of the Saints and Raiders game. Brees went through the Raiders defense like Sherman through Atlanta. Passed and ran on them at will. Jamarcus Russell looked like a high school quarterback out there. Totally confused (apologists will use the multiple offensive coordinator excuse), this guy looks destined to be a bust.

That's the primary reason, and the fact that we didn't have Terence Newman and Mike Jenkins so Courtney Brown and Mike Mickens received a lot of playing time at corner.
