to make Trevor Simian look like the second coming of John Elway? The guy is flat awful. Watch him play tonight and he looks totally lost. That loss to the Broncos was embarrassing and since then their offense has done virtually nothing.

We played cover 2 off zone all day and he threw slants before the dropping LBs reached their depth. Pretty straight forward.

Combined with an inability to stop the run and there you go.
Do you think it would be a different ending if we played them now, with Irving and a healthy Lee?

Treated the Giants game like our super bowl. After we beat them, we read our own news clippings all week. Then came the letdown. Story of this franchise the last decade. No clue how to handle success.

Not with that gameplan, no.

The problem with a drop cover 2 is it only works if you can stop the run with a normal box and force long yardage passing downs where 5-8 yard passing plays don't hurt you.

We should have been bumping their receivers at the line before dropping to keep them from hitting those slants so easily.

He's pretty good at home. We played him at home. Playing him in Dallas......story would've been different.

Coaching did nothing. The team gets pinched in the face and there is zero reaction. It is embarrassing just how little these coaches can react on the fly. If their script works, we win. Otherwise, it will take surprise efforts to get a W.
