How do 49ers fans feel?

As Dallas fans we're losing our minds, but at least we had two great eras and would be in the middle of a third if the players could get their heads of their arses (and stay healthy). But look at SF, they had one great era where they won a bunch of Super Bowls and they haven't done squat since. Their 5 Lombardis must seem even less shiny than ours do right now.

In this league, it wouldn't surprise me that in 2 years the 49ers are again a very good team.

I think the question the 49ers need to answer is whether they have the right HC. Time will tell.

Well niners fans are probably hating life as bad as us but at least they weren't SUPPOSED to be in the super bowl two years straight only to miserably crap the bed. The way things are going I predict SanFran will beat us to 6 also...Jerry remains a bafoon.

I like their coach a heck of a lot better than ours. I would kill for Singletary. You need a veteran coach for young teams but for lazy and distracted teams, you need someone with a huge boot. Singletary has that going for him.

But I really don't see us doing too much next season with Wade as HC.

I think he's an excellent DC, but I don't see us making a Super Bowl run with him next season as HC.

I was talking to a friend of mine who's a 49'ers fan during the game and he wasn't that bothered because at least it wasn't the Cowboys.

Kinda feel the same way if it was the 49'ers i wouldn't be that bothered by it my self but it was the Steelers, i really can't stand the Steelers and their fans :bang2:

It's important to get a great QB, and a great coach. If you get those 2, you can dominate.

Because the media said so and everybody keeps throwing it in our faces now. To be honest, I don't remember any Cowboys players, coaches or even Jerry predicting a Dallas Super Bowl appearance or win. Of course it was the goal. It's everybody's goal.

I was a big Singletary fan until his recent actions. His struggle to find and retain good assistants is worrisome as is his team's record with him as Head Coach.

But perhaps it will shake out as positive in time. You can't judge a guy based on 1 season.

And this is why our fans are so freaking mad. They thought we were guaranteed a SB, they fell for the hype, so when it didn't happen we basically freaked out, and are still freaking out.
