No offense has the combination of running backs, tight end, receivers, and quarterback plus a solid line (one game aside) the Cowboys have. Now if they can figure out how to play together... records will fall.

Pretty stupid question till we actually see them play together. Did anyone watch Detriot football enough to know anything RW did in Detroit?

Because stats prove everything right? Example. Welker and Williams have the same number of 1,000 yard seasons therefore they are equal players. You can use stats to make yourself seem correct in any situation.

Who would you rather have opposite TO RW or Welker?

Williams has more big play capability but questionable hands. Welker is a better blocker and can play special teams. As a #2 receiver obviously the nod goes to Williams, but as a more valuable teamate I would say Welker.

Ook that's all I wanted to hear Williams > Welker.

That was not the argument though smart guy. And yes he has questionable hands I think he dropped 4 passes last week alone.

Owens/Williams/Witten/Crayton/Austin

I don't think there are any equals in the NFL to that pass receiving lineup.

Man if Welker can make such a huge jump once he got to New England just imagine what a player with Roy Williams talents can do once he gets to Dallas.

Fitz/Boldin and Wayne/Harrison are the only tandems that are potentially superior to Owens/Williams.

However, with the presence of Jason Witten, the Cowboys have the best group of wide receivers and tight ends in the league...by a wide margin.

Yeah on paper. Kinda like your secondary was #1 before the season started.

Obviously it's impossible to predict how good the TO/Williams duo will be, but I would guess it will be better than all but Fitz/Boldin and Moss/Welker when they get in rhythm. Chad and Housh haven't been the same this year and Wayne/Harrison haven't been the same since before Marvin got hurt, so I would have both those groups below TO/Williams.

And naturally, if you can add in a TE, I bump us up to number 1

If Williams > Welker and Moss and TO is a push or a wash wouldn't it be clear TO and Wiliam > Welker and Moss ??????

He only has 3 drops on the season.......

Fitz & Boldin both have produced, but who knows...I don't mean to be a jerk and say it, but who knows if Boldin takes a step back after this scary injury. Maybe he becomes a little less ballsy when hearing footsteps or going up when in traffic. I think the Harrison/Wayne best days are behind them, and now it's more of a Wayne/Gonzalez tandem (or soon to be,) and Moss & Welker aren't turning too many heads anymore. I guess that'll have to be reassessed next season. On paper, I'd have to say we have the most intriguing duo, just because both receivers are such rare breeds of size and speed combination...but then again, aren't we tired of being incredible on paper? Let's see it happen!

I was just trying to get across that there are comparable tandems that have actually played games together and proved something.
