He comes from Arkansas, looks like LVE, and plays like Micah......I wouldn't be mad.

And no, I'm not really making a Micah comparison in terms of level of play as Micah is obviously a freak and actually a different level of athlete.

Best guy left on the board right now however I would love a trade down with Vegas maybe steal a first next season.

Love him. Especially at 58. I actually could have lived with him at 26 if guys like Nolan Smith weren't on board

I like him.

I don't think his pass rushing will really translate. It's mostly just straight-line winning on speed, and he's not fast enough to speed-rush NFL tackles. Sure you can mix him up in some blitzes, but he's not a guy you send at a LT 30 times a game.

He's a lot better coverage defender than he gets billed for, though. I think he has a future as a traditional off-ball LB in kind of an Anthony Barr style.

Spot on.

He does appear to have pretty good agility but yeah, I’m not looking at him as a pass rusher. More a young Barr as you mentioned.

Dont hate the pick by any means, however, is a LB position less of a need now that we've improved at the DT position? LVE has just improved and I can see Micah now spending more time at LB especially on third downs where Mazi is on the field creating a straight line craters to the QB.

Just think we need a little offensive love in the 2nd.

That’s a fair point.

I do think we typically need three good linebackers so there’s a role there but certainly a starting guard and even RB2 are arguable bigger roles and the team really needs another weapon on the offense.

Great 2nd round target…same for Simpson if we’re hunting LBr.

Can play WILL until LVE is gone and then takeover that role. Uber athletic plus gives you serious pass rush juice.

Think Defense would be complete with 1 more impact linebacker, at 58 he would be hard to pass up.

Would love him at 58 and more importantly, I know the Cowboys love him also.
