This OBJ situation and player miscues aren't related, IMO.

How did you come to the conclusion that they are related?
BEcause the fact you think players have a right to feel disrespected and coaches dont is mind boggling to me. We get it. You dont like OBJ and you dont want the Cowboys do add anyone with talent to help the team. You want to stand pat and keep the cap in great shape. Cool

The rest of this team. (mainly the leaders of this team) are preaching that they want more help because they know this team has the talent to get to the big dance. Leaders of the team, usually, are speaking on behalf of the entire team. At least with my experience in locker rooms.

Ceedee’s quotes:

"My reaction? Oh that's my boy," said Lamb. "I'm a fan of Odell - for sure. I feel like, 'Why wouldn't you wanna add more firepower to this [#Cowboys] offense?'"

"[Michael Gallup] is a No. 1 receiver, too," Lamb said. "We had three No. 1 receivers [during] my rookie year so why not get back to that?"

Doubt it will close the thread because you will have the people that will say "well of course they are going to say that"

why should a player feel disrespected...lol there's no disrespect in adding talent, if you're doing your job as expected why would you be worried, if you feel disrespected, then there's something you're not doing right and you should be replaced.
All of Dallas' current players are under contract with the team. OBJ is not. If a man is married (under contract) and his wife is seeking the affections of another man, should that married man feel disrespected?

Lol....no way near the same...lol we're talking about competing for playing time, not for your wife or husband...:lmao:

and if your significant other is out looking ,maybe you should figure out where youre lacking or can improve.

It's an analogy. Analogies are used to compare things. Things don't have to be near the same in order for someone to use an analogy.

Affecting a player's role on a team, can effect a player's personal life.

We brought in DT Hankins because we knew he could help. Bringing in OBJ and hoping he can help is a big difference. The guy has played in 21 games in the last three years. Signing him is a big gamble.

Some players should feel disrespected from all of the talk. Let's just hope they use it as fuel.

I agree and I just dont get it. Hey IF we are going to get the OBJ style of play like when he played for the Giants Im on board. The big question is, Is he still that same player? Look at the last three years should say something. He isn't going to be ready until Dec and No one can say he is just going to step right in and be the same player after so many injuries. You want to take and spend $$ on what if? Save that money to keep some of your own guys.
