having a mobile QB?Do u think our O would be better?I am tired of seeing these mobile QBs move around making plays and time for recievers.im getting jealous that we are stuck with having to max protect.I think it would be nice to see a 20 yard QB run occasionally.

I prefer a dropback quarterback who can make all the throws. But with this line, yeah - we definitely need a mobile quarterback.

I like the pocket passers that can move enough to buy some time.

I don't like the moblie QB's myself, but that's just me.

I like a QB with an accurate arm, .. that is athletic enough to move around in the pocket and buy time for guys to get open.

Mobile??...not really necessary....agile with the ability to buy time in the pocket? absolutely.

Bledsoe is actually less mobile than Vinny was...Vinny could take a step or two to buy time...he was much more aware in the pocket.

Marino was a guy who could avoid the rush and buy a second...yet he was an awful runner.

The problem is that it's WAY too easy to game plan against a guy like Bledsoe.

Have you noticed Bledsoe never sidesteps? He only seems capable of moving forward or backward, usually into the arms of a Defensive End.

Yep...I've noticed. Vinny actually had pretty quick feet for a couple of steps...Bledsoe has that forward move...which looks kinda weird...he looks like a guy who's feeling his way around in the dark and not wanting to stub his toe.

I'm just amazed that he is STILL so careless with the ball in the pocket...everytime he gets sacked, it looks like the ball is going to come out.

Id want a guy like Omar Jacobs, who can make plays with his feet if necessary, but has a bullet throwing arm.

McNabb would probably be more successful, just because he can move around, and he would actually be a big help for our offense, considering our WRs could get open with him moving around, etc. HOWEVER, he is Philthy's franchise player, and they made it clear that they would take him over T.O., so if we were to get McNabb, it would be a long time, post-Bill Parcells...

i agress 100% thats why i liked qc, although i wish he would have worked out more then he did, thats why i also like Marcus Vick he is far different from his brother but can fly if he needs too

I have a feeling that a guy who will be similar to McNabb will be Reggie McNeal...i have seen him play a couple games and he has an amazing arm...he has good speed but in the pros having a running QB is stupid so he could put on some muscle weight and be shifty in the pocket like McNabb...I think after the combine his stock will go way up he runs a 4.3 40 and has an incredible arm

Speaking of mobile QBs, Vick got abused today, and that's putting it nicely

The problem is that Bledsoe is immobile. Even drop back pocket passers have the ability to at least run outside the hashmarks and throw it away. You don't need a mobile QB if you want to buy time in the pocket.

Yes, he would be more successful here because McNabb is like a true hybrid of a pocket passer and a mobile QB. He knows when to run and when to stay in the pocket.
