Is it me or is it a ray of hope that we can win with Garrett at the command? I think the team is definitely feeling it..Kitna is hot and the Saints I believe are about to run into a hot team..

I'm feeling better. I'm having more fun, obviously, and it's nice to see the team rallying and playing better ball.

I, however, am not real confident in our chances Thursday. I just don't know if we're improved enough to beat the Saints and as happy as I've been with Kitna, and he's been a blessing for the backup QB spot without a doubt, I'm not sure we can score enough, and really push the pace to win, without Romo against Brees and the Saints.

But I'm a lot more optomistic now than I was a few weeks ago, obviously.

The one thing I do know is the way this team is preparing for football games they now have a chance to win this game.

Under Wade after 0-2 i expected them to lose and miss the playoffs (I was hoping for a win)

I feel good about our chances, but I think if we get behind by two scores or more we are done. I'm still not convinced that this team handles being down well. McCann bailed us out with that run back.

I feel good about what I'm seeing in this team right now. Like many others who cover the NFL I think this team does have talent and right now Garrett is getting them to play smart football. I'm not seeing guys not knowing where to lineup or making stupid penalties. I hope it continues and these last few games should be a good test for this team and for Garrett. I hope they can pass the test

I like our chances, but I'm staying grounded here. Ambushing a Giants team that had completely overlooked us and beating a Lions team at home that hasn't won a road game since 2007 doesn't exactly make us the hottest team in the league. We are improving and that's encouraging, but the Saints are no pushover and are once again looking like the team that won the Super Bowl last year.

This time around we are without our starting QB and we still don't run the ball effectively. Not to mention that our defense has made the likes of Ely Manning and Shaun Hill look like Dan Marino in the stats category. We've survived so far, but an elite team with an elite QB (Saints, Colts) will eat us alive if we play like that again.

One thing I CAN say that I couldn't a mere 3 weeks ago is that we'll compete. From there, the chips will fall where they may, but I'm not going to foolishly claim that victory is ours. Not this week.
