How do you insert new fonts into Adobe

Just wondering how you put new fonts into adobe photoshop
where they automatically show up to be used on ur fonts list
when designing

last time i had this program i never could figure it out

you put them in your fonts folder,go into windows and you will see a fonts folder,just put them in their and when you open PS they will be there.
