...don't do it! Earlier, I mistakingly looked at the Cowbozoy's 2004 schedule -- actually, the 2005 schedule looks to enhance your chances of sweeping the Eagles -- from -0 to +0!
Still believe that some of your priorities should be more aligned toward winning every divisional game; yes, to include the Eagles; but not exclusively the Eagles. Neverthless. here's how I see it ...
San Diego
(L), Washington
(W), San Francisco
(W), Oakland
(L); then on October 9, (in Dallas) Philadelphia
(L). Remember, at home ...while you play well at home, the Eagles play well on the road. There's going to be a lot of Pressure for the home win against the Eagles. Don't believe you're quite ready for the that type of move yet. Still believe it may be a blowout game.
Believe it's a good thing for you that it is
not a Monday night game. Pivotal game only in your quest to sweep -- not In the overall race for your first playoff (not wildcard) birth. Realistically, a wildcard birth should be another priority.
Again, Good luck on your attempts to sweep the Eagles. However, Cowbozoy's coaching staff probably is going to take every game "One-at-a-time."
We'll see! But remember ...you could technically sweep the Eagles and still not make the playoffs. Retrospectively, the Eagles could lose both games to the Cowbozoy and still make the playoffs.
Good hunting! We'll talk about the second half of the season later...
Sneak preview
You'll take a much needed BYE on November 6 -- while we play the the Commanders on November 6. then we'll play you at home that next week!
A "BYE" is a break to regroup, rest, lick wounds, restrategize, etc. But, sometimes it takes a game or two to get back into the groove, depending upon teams you play after the BYE. You'll play the Eagles at home, on Monday Night Football!
Sweep? Let's wait and see before you start bragging about the wins. After all, you could be right!
