Who Thinks We Should Start Felix In The Begininning Of The Ball Game And Then Pound Them Out Wit Baber N Choice Mid Way To The End Of The Ball Game???????

Not get behind in games and not get penalties that force us to pass would be a good start.

Thats A Good Split Cuz I Think Re Ran The Ball Pretty Good We Just Need To Use Felix A Little More

We should start Felix and use Barber or Choice to bring us some much needed depth at the OLine position.

Injuries will happen. What will we do when they do happen? Maybe not columbo again, maybe Free next time. In any scenario I dont want to rely on Alex Barron ever again.

Probably not the sexy answer. But more likely to bring us a title.

Barber and Choice can each do what the other does. Choice will leave first chance he gets to be the guy. Barber brings heart but makes too much for what he does. Take your pick. Having this many RB's isnt good when 2 of them are watching Barron bear hug our games away.

Yep, Felix starts and is our RB, .. Barber and Choice are used situationally, or by design for short yardage, rest Jones, etc.

Someone tell Barber we don't need him to step out of bounds. That is not what he is in the game for. He needs to stiff arm someone and try to run over them. Otherwise, Choice needs to be used more than Barber.

Run Felix, and throw to Witten, Miles and Dez, ... it's that simple.
Put the ball into the hands of your stars.

Scenario 1:
Trade Felix
Start Choice
3rd Down/Short Yardage Barber

Scenario 2:
Alternate Felix and Choice series to series
3rd Down/Short Yardage Barber

I don't think there's any doubt Felix should be the starter. IMO, Choice should be the second RB. He's so good between the tackles and has the natural instincts. We saw what he can do with a heavier workload in 08 and he did not disappoint.

I think it should be Felix 60%, Choice 40%, Barber traded. Just one guy's opinion.

Find the hot hand and run with it.

Likely going to be Felix.

I think Felix needs 20 touches a game.

I pretty much hated how Parcells gameplanned on offense when he was here, but the one thing he did do well was use Barber as a closer. He would have him spell Julius Jones, keeping him mostly fresh. A tired defense in the 4th quarter has no chance against a fresh Marion Barber. Remember this was when we had JuJo, not Felix.

This coaching staff needs to stop worrying about injuries if that's the case. Injuries happen. Hell, I strongly believe you run a greater chance of someone injured by constantly rotating RBs.

It's the most confounding question I've ever had as a Cowboy fan and I go back to the 60's. It's so obvious that Barber is made for the 2nd half when we have the lead. He got his current contract when he played that role. It seems as if to justify the contract, he must be the #1 guy. I can't believe Jerry could be that stupid or arrogant or whatever. There's no question, Felix or Choice should be the starter and bring in Barber when you have the lead.

more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should use all three and if we ran the ball more each one of them could get their carries.

I would start Felix, use Choice and MB on third downs and finish the game pounding MB.

14 carries for Felix - start him and rotate him with the other 2 fittingly
10 carries for Barber - 3rd downs and especially passing situations due to his blocking
8 carries for Choice - Razorback and all goal-line/short yardage situations

Felix starts, Barber on third downs and end of game, Choice only plays due to injury. Garrett has too many weapons and doesn't know what to do with them. I wouldn't be against a Choice trade and Donaldson or Miller as insurance.

Each game is going to dictate what a team does. That's just the way it is.
If we ran the ball thirty times a game some fans would have a melt down yelling " look at all the talent we have at WR, why are we forcing the run?"

We need to balance what we are doing and not give up so quickly on any one thing. I'm still a Felix/Barber guy. Choice is a good back but like any other back, once he's seen a bit people will realise why he is the third back.

I think you title was right in the use of how, not who.

"I" formation with a fullback lead, just like Norv did with Smith and Moose. We have the big line, good blocking FBs. Pound the other team into submission then play action. Heck, how often did you see Troy in the shotgun ?

If we used the shotgun formation only 7-8 a game, instead of 25, that alone would help this running and passing game. Red saw our success when Norv was here, why is trying to out think what actually worked.

Run and play action pass should be 70% of our plays out of the "I". The points and red zone scoring would come like ******mas presents from Santa.
