Realistically, this is what I would want the OL to look like in 2013:

LT: Tyron Smith

LG: Nate Livings

C: 1st round pick

RG: Montrae Holland or veteran signing

RT: Jeremy Parnell or veteran signing

Gimme your OL in 2013.

too early to say largely because i have no idea how tyron will develop the rest of the year (hopefully he is the future LT)

too many holes on this OL to come up with a mid-season plan

we're gonna sign max unger, so center spot is addressed.

i see us drafting either RT or guard in 2nd round. Most likely guard.

Pass rusher will be main priority i believe.

Sign the best offensive lineman in free agency, and use the first two picks on offensive lineman.

Keep Smith and Livings.

Well what I want and I what I think might happen are in totally different universes :laugh2:

My semi-realistic hope:

Smith - Livings - Cook/Costa - Rookie - Vollmer

Too early to guess specifics, but I don't think something like that is impossible.

I'd like to see us do to our offense next year what we did to our defense this year.

LT - Tyron
LG - Livings
C - 2nd round pick
RG - Veteran FA
RT - Draft pick or Jeremy Parnell (if ready)

yeah, we need to get immediate help in free agency. don't have alot of time to let guys develop.

Vollmer would be a HUGE upgrade over that scrub free. if we can get a 2nd round stud at guard, i think this line would be greatly improved. Cook and livings are doing their job just fine.

Whoa dude, I haven't forgotten about you becoming a Ravens fan in the middle of the first half yesterday.

Baltimore is that way.

He claims he was joking. I would never make a joke like that. I'd jump off the Brooklyn Bridge before I stopped or even joking about not being a Cowboys fan anymore.

This zone blocking scheme...it's not working so far. Sure we've gotten lighter and quicker on the OLine in terms of size but these guys are getting mauled. They all look too weak out there.

Unger signed a multi-year deal with Seattle before this season, so no Unger.

Lol "claims". I'm still here aren't I? ;)

I probably shouldn't of said it, but I just wanted to see the replies.

Sure the scheme is stupid, but it doesn't matter what scheme you have if you don't have guys who are good football players you're gonna struggle. Kinda like last year on defense. Ryan tried to change schemes, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was we simply lacked talent specifically in the secondary. That's why we drafted Morris Claibourne and signed Brandon Carr. In the offseason we need to upgrade this offensive line. We need to add a talented player or two. I'm fine with Cook at center. He's an upgrade over Costa IMO. Tyron will eventually be fine at his position. We need to dump Free if he doesn't improve significantly the rest of the seasons. Livings and Bernadeu were a waste of money. We should give serious consideration to drafting a offensive linemen in either the first or second round.

Maybe we'll have a time machine and it'll look like this

LT Mark Tuinei

LG Nate Newton

C Mark Stepnoski

RG Larry Allen

RT Erik Williams
