Lost in all the OBJ stuff if is that they were up 35-7 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

We see this all too often, teams can't put other teams away.

It started with a 3 and out and then a blocked FG but it was also a complete collapse by a pretty good D.

A NFL game is never over since you can score in bunches

I wouldn't be completely shocked if they went 16-0 and got bumped out in the first round.

Might be the least hyped undefeated team. The Golden State Warriors were getting more press.

The NYG comeback would have been tied for second biggest ever in the NFL.

They called it a day assuming that no team would be able to come back.

I would be completely shocked if they lost in the 1st even with a 1st round bye, might be the first time a team has even lost on a bye week

They did exactly what most teams do. They fell into that "our work is done here" trap and relaxed. Heck. After they scored that TD to hit 35 Cam was on the sideline iced down as if he was done for the day. If NY wouldn't have scored & hot 14 so quickly, he would have never returned. Such is life for most teams nowadays. The killer instinct (fostered by the coaching staff) is mostly absent from today's game.

We tend to fall into that same trap after scoring in the 1st quarter.

Haha..I know, was already corrected

I think if they come across Arizona they could be bounced out, Seattle a close 2nd. The playoffs should be fun to watch. I ultimately this its going to be a Arizona/Pittsburg Super Bowl.

Because the intimidation tactics they used before the game on ODB wore off and he went back to his game. Listen, I am not excusing ODB launching himself at anyone. That risked both of their careers and well being. But threatening him with a bat in some way before the game and supposedly launching homophobic slurs at him? Come on man. Were they that threatened by him they had to stoop to this level pregame?

I don't think that's going to happen!

Oh the Iggles faithful are back on the bandwagon today. Typically, it's 3 days of mourning after a loss and cursing the team, HC and franchise. They by Thursday and Friday, they are talking victory. However, today they are already talking playoffs and possibly winning at least one playoff game. The Christmas spirit must be strong in Philly.

They are also talking about being a top tier team next year as well.

Un real

Well...
  • The year before last they were 12-4 and made the playoffs
  • Last year they started horribly and had injuries, but won their last 4 games to sneak into the playoffs. And then won a playoff game
  • Now this year, they lose their star WR but still win 14 straight (so 18 straight in the regular season)
Total and complete BS if anyone thinks this is luck.

Yeah just one of those things.

Teams play offense different when it gets outta hand. Sometime they speed up things and just start clicking,
