I put bradford in the same category as Lee. Anyone expecting a full season out of either is dreaming.

I think this offseason went exactly as they hoped it would. Next one will hurt though.

They lost thier two best defenders. One at DT and one at CB. Those will be tough to replace.

And I think the opportunity is being dangled in front of the running backs they do have. Those guys should be told clearly what a great opportunity they have in front of them. 'The last guy to run behind this line led the league in rushing and got himself a huge payday. You want that? Do what he did.'

An oversimplification to be sure, but essentially, that's it. If any of these guys are capable of doing what Murray did, the accolades and rewards are sure to follow.

If Randle were to get 20 carries a game, he would no doubt get 1500 yards if he played all 16 games. In the few carries he had he rattled of 3 runs of over 30 yards. He may not get the dirty yards as well, but the big plays will be much more frequent from Randle, McFadden, and Dunbar. Even Williams.

I loved our off season. Three 1st rd talents in one draft. Best pass rusher in free agency. McClain and Lee coming back is huge. All our younger guys (Lawrence, McClain, Hitchens, etc) should improve. We also added better depth with the LBs and DBs we signed.

I don't get the Eagles or Seahawks getting better. I think they both got worse.

Philadelphia lost their #1 WR. Who do they have at WR now? Riley Cooper?? Hahaha! They added a RB that doesn't fit their scheme at all. And another RB that only plays 3 or 4 games a season. They lost one of their better OL and DL. And added Seattles 2nd or 3rd best CB. And a jag from the Bills at LB.

Seattle losing Unger is a pretty big blow. They still have junk at WR. Jimmy graham doesn't fit the Seahawks mentality AT ALL. He's soft as Charmin. They lost some depth on defense. And one of these yrs soon Marshawn Lynch is gonna fall off a cliff. I think it will be this yr.

And how is Sam Bradford an upgrade at QB for Philadelphia? Foles was/is actually a decent QB. Bradford is terrible

Foles has a career QB rating of 94. Bradford has only once in his career had a season where his QB rating was over 90. In 2013 his rating was 90.9. Highest of his career

I would say Dallas had a good off season if we measure it by what the popular opinion is on the potential of the draft picks. Which is all we can do right now. Everybody seems to agree, Collins will be a beast, Gregory can shine, Jones will develop into a solid corner......Not just the Cowboys and us, but scouts, coaches, across the league say the same things.... etc etc....

But that doesn't mean its right. Say Collins turns out to be just another OL. Gregory gets in trouble like a lot of teams expect, and Jones cant make the transition into the NFL.

The real measurement will be results on the field. Thats all that really counts.....But, as of right now, I would say yes, Dallas has had a good offseason.

My concern is , can these guys develop in a timeframe that gives us an opportunity to make a SB push in Romos window. 2 years. I still think we can be a good team after Romo, but its going to take an undetermined amount of time, transitioning to another QB, that can develop into a QB that leads us to the SB.

Dallas has had a debatably good offseason (probably debated more on other teams' forums than on here). Added strength to DL/DE - although how much we don't know due to several factors. Added depth to OL (although lost a good swing tackle). Added captain LB. Added potential good CB ("good" is optimistic for a rookie at that position). Lost good/very good RB.

However a lot of other teams had pretty good off seasons too.

1. Eagles improved QB (we are assuming no injuries in any of this analysis). Improved RB (depth at the very least). Improved LB. Improved Secondary.
Bradford > Kolb is debatable by many. Murray over McCoy is highly speculative. Got some secondary help. The lost Jeremy Maclin.

2. Giants. Added Cruz back. Offense in 2nd year of new system with best potential receiver combo in league.
They lost their starting LT. Offense should be good though. Defense has a bunch of holes.

3. Seattle. Improved TE. Retain most key parts to championship.
Should contend. But did lose TWO starting olineman. They lost a starting CB. Did add Graham though.

4. GB. Improved receiving core while retaining most key parts to very good team.
true

5. Patriots. Retained parts to championship team.
They lost Revis, Wilfork, Browner. Also lost Vareen.

6. Vikings. 2nd year for rising QB. Added Peterson. Improved good defense.
true

7. Cardinals. Retained major pieces to very good defense. Got QB back. Improved RB. Improved OL.
Lost DC Todd Bowles. but yes...they could contend.

Other teams that improved - Jets, Bills and Dolphins (3 2015 opponents).
yes

The level of play looks to be as high as ever this upcoming year in the battle for Superbowl 2015.
