It makes me feel good, they know they will get the press, and recognition, funny we don't even win a playoff game, and players still want to come play for us,it makes you feel like they will come here and play there *** off

how many big names have the steelers signed in the past 5 years in FA?

As much as I'd like to believe that, many players throw the Cowboy's out there as a negotiation tool. Ray Lewis, for instance, is just trying to land the big contract. I don't think he really wanted to play for the Cowboys!

Maybe, if you've paid your dues and had your rear-end busted, and worked at practice into the ground for a few years, Dallas looks like the place to be....

Also, if your old and shot-out & tired, but still want to make a few bucks without getting grilled or drilled, then a Wade Phillips summer camp is right up your alley.

Also, if your just too dog-gone tired of being held accountable in the locker room after practice or a game, then the Dallas Cowboys current picnic setting is made-to-order.......................

If the pressures and responsibilities of big time NFL football is wearing on you, then "come on down to Dallas" and get a paid vacation while winding-down your career. Do the "Zac Thomas" thing and still make a great living, all the while contributing little to nothing.................and the extra added benefit of never hearing anything about it from anyone in the front office or on staff.

Yep. Every player in the League should want to play for the Dallas Cowboys, where "high expectations meet miserable failure", and YOU STILL GET YOUR ROSTER BONUS!!!!!!

Well, it is a positive thing that players, especially some of the leagues best like Peppers and Lewis, say these things. BUT please be advised that a good portion of why these payers say these things are money motivated. Yes they will get exposure as well, but the exposure helps them get more money through promotional deals beyond what the teams pay them.

To say they sound like they will play their butts off for us is true but that's talk. You look at last year and a few guys played their butts off. executed and performed when it mattered. That goes for the whole team whether they were drafted players we developed over the years or the star power free agents we collect annually. Jason Witten, Demarcus Ware, Tashard Choice, Felix Jones (although injured), Jay Ratliff , Miles Austin, Scandrick, Colombo and Romo (gets the nod) all "played their butts off" for us last year every time they were in a play. I can say that with conviction.

Now there were the 75/25 club like T.O, Barber, Bradie James, Bigg, Gurode, Newman, Killer, Thomas and Roy Williams 11 seemed to want to be, but was never utilized. 50/50 out of guys like Flo, Hamlin, Roy Wiliams 38 (injured or not), Henry, Jenkins, Bennett, Brad Johnson , etc etc. Then there is no effort or passion at all like TonkaToy Johnson or Barbie Carpenter (just a drip). He only wanted to have something to do with this team when the media wanted to put him on a show or probe him about the gossip inside. At least Johnson wouldfall on his asss for the defense, Barbie wouldn't even get mixed up.

So, in all about players wanting to play their butts off for the Dallas Cowboys I rather just see it than hear it. Pacman gave his all on the field, but I just want to forget about him.

Of course they want to be Cowboys. Camp is easier. the Cowboys take off a lot of days. HC won't ever yell at them and take them to task in public.
And Jerra is loaded and can never resist a "big name."
