Based off yesterday's non participation by his owner in free agency, Micah is probably thinking that in order to stay with this sinking ship that he is now definitely pursuing the market setting non QB contract of all time.
If he wasn't already gonna pursue that prior to yesterday's inactivity anyway.

So all that previous talk by him of not having to be the highest paid in order to get more surrounding pieces around him probably changed based off yesterday if Micah's previous comments were genuinely sincere.

The problem is the "nothing has changed' part.

Cowboys are doing the same exact thing they have done in the previous god knows how many offseasons.

Parsons pleaded with Jerry to get more aggressive and try to make the team better. They have not and likely will not. They will fill the roster with cheap JAGs and then tell us that the draft will cure our ills. Same as it always is.

If I were Parsons and watching this, I'd think long and hard about playing out the 5th year and then parachuting out of this situation. It's clear that the owner and his boob of a son have zero idea how to build (or zero desire to spend) a roster that can compete for a SB.

How many more offseasons like this will it take before it settles in?

I do.

I think he knows he's going to get paid regardless of where he plays so he might just be ready to see what's out there in FA. He has no financial ties to Dallas. He can run his podcast from anywhere. He's going to get paid top money anywhere he goes in a year so why not find a team that might actually give him a chance to win?

That's not going to happen here.
