How dumb are the giants?

I am stunned they did what they did all because they believe they have their starting quarterback.

The only reason a team would purposely try to drop from #1/#2 in the draft is to save money.

Even if they didn't want to draft a quarterback they could have traded out of the 1 or 2 position and got another first round pick.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm VERY glad they won! :D

I would think that the interim coach was the motivation to win. He’s trying to keep his foot in the Giants or another team.

Giants should have kept the first pick. They could have traded down to where they are now and got at least another FRP for their trouble.

Two weeks ago they had the number 1 spot in the draft. 2 meaningless wins later they will be picking number as low as 6 possible.

To question professionals for working hard and calling them dumb isn't accurate. What they did is called being professional and RESPECTING their profession.

Anyone who purposely try to lose a game to get better drafting position is dumb. High picks aren't guaranteed to be successful.

The Indiana guy is the #1 pick right? Or is he the Raiders will choose. I think it is a really weak draft but QBs are not good this draft and the Indiana guy is not all that either.

Their HC is interim. He's not throwing the game. The players don't care about draft slot, that's just someone to take their job.

some of you guys, so much gold.

you dont think the Giants didnt think this out?

let me guess, a bunch of you still think fans make the difference.

teams know the draft isnt what it is.

are we going to get a player that puts us over the hump better with out pick now than the one we had this morning? no.

the league has changed, get up with it.

This !!

It's Jerry and the circus boys.......... who wouldn't want to sacrifice draft position for a chance to kick Jerry in his junk sack?

Except for the Spurs, Thunder, and early 90s Cowboys.

Once again, this "guarantee" BS. No one has claimed it, why is being brought up as a counterpoint? Anyone who thinks drafting more toward the front of the draft is not better is the dumb one!!!!

I don't know that allowing a losing team at accept a losing mindset as beneficial is a good plan. I think you have to striving to get better and success is the reward for that.

dave, they arent that dumb..they won a couple super bowls and we havent made an NFCC game. i think the NYG are okay.

The giants “big” win against us today prevents us from being dumb enough to win the last two for “season ending momentum”, lol.
We missed out on Dak celebrating like he just won a trip to Disney. Bummer....

Possibly. Hard to say. Sometimes there's a huge dropoff in talent around 12 or so, sometimes there's not.

I keep trying to tell ya ......GMs. Coaches and especially players couldn't care less about a draft position 4 months away. Most, if not every, player is playing for his next contract.

BTW..... notice the Cowboys declined a penalty after an EZ sack. I can see Clowney telling the sideline to decline it. Why? guess.......
