He had a good night last night, well one good run but you know what I mean.

How close is he to 1000 now?

I thought it was really close like that, thanks.

Will be nice finally to have another 1000 yard runner, haven't had one since 2001 with Smith. Remember in 2002 when Smith was close in the last game and Campost basically didn't give him the ball in the second half in Washington? That really annoyed me.

He has exactly the same yardage total as he had last year. However, this year he's averaging 4.24 per carry whereas last year he was at 3.86 a carry.

He actually averaged 4.3 ypc if you take away the long run... still a very good ypc average...

We should have run him more in the first half...

he would have had the 1000 yards yesterday but for some stupid reason why gave up on the run when Julius was finally running so well. One of the many boneheaded decisions that Parcells made yesterday

Thats good, he'll be making 1000 in the next game hopefully. Its very important for his confidence I believe.

Dude I turned off the game when they abandoned the running game, Payton gambled and went for broke with the deep balls because he knew Julius Jones was going to have a huge game against them if they didn't consistantly throw it deep! Thanks to our sorry safeties Julius Jones couldn't have that 200+ yard game he was well on pace for....

Actually, we stopped running after we were down by 4 scores. That's a pretty good time to do it.

Uh no if you're only down by 14 why stop running the ball????? Julius Jones didn't even sniff the ball on some of those drives which was simply ridiculous!

Umm we consistently stopped running after we got down 14-7, 1 run a drive doesnt count.

He'll get that Saturday and then some because the Falcons, just like the Saints are very prone to big running plays too.
