I was just thinking this morning and for some reason one thing about the end of the Campo era came to mind and I busted up laughing. Do yall remember him putting the end to playing spades in the locker room and the punching of the time clocks? Yeah that worked. :laugh2:

How far we've come offensively:

QCar, Hutch.................Bledsoe
Old Smith/Hambrick.........Young Jones, Barber
Jamar Martin...................Fasano/Polite
Tony Richardson................Jason Witten
Flo..................................Flo
Allen................................Kosier
Lehr..................................Gurode/Johnson
Gurode..............................Rivera
Dunno who the RT was...........Columbo (haha...hopefully not a wash)
Joey Galloway......................TO
Antonio Bryant.....................Glenn

How far we've come defensively:

La'Roi Glover..........................Jason Ferguson
Willie Blade...........................marcus spears...you get the drift...
Ebenezer Ekuban.....................Chris Canty
Ellis..................................Ellis
Coakley............................Ware:eek:
Dat..................................James
Al Singleton...........................Ayodele
Newman..............................Newman
Edwards...........................Henry, Glenn
Roy...................................Watkins/Killer
Woody.................................Roy

Actally, when you put our D's together like that, you don't see a huge leap, but we have more depth and the scheme matches the players, so I think the point is taken.

Yes - we've improved.

Larry Allen? In 2006? Nah.

Torrin Tucker and Kurt Vollers, wasn't it?

Yeah - I think I was mixing a lot of the 2002 and 2003 roster. Sorry about that.

Just win baby.

You are what your record says you are.

Someone once said that.

Just win.

Actually whil Campo went 5-10 a couple of his seasons here, BP has done a little better at 6-10 and 7-9. The personnel is different, but some of Campo's guys are producing for other teams. A couple of BP's higher picks aren't even playing (Rodgers & Peterman) and Green wasn't all he was cracked up to be, nor have some of his FA signings. And let's not foget, BP has been allowed to pick his coaches and scouting staff, whereas ol' Dave couldn't even pick his own offensive coordinator. My point is, so far BP has NOT done that much better than Campo, given all the freedom and resources at his disposal;. Hopefull that trend will start to change today, and for the foreseeable future...

Campo was 5-11 three times.

When were the Cowboys 7-9? Try 9-7...big difference.

In other words, Campo was 15-33 in 3 seasons with no playoff appearances or winning seasons.

Parcells in three seasons went 25-23 with a playoff appearance and 2 winning seasons. AND the team is poised for big things this year.

You are grasping at straws, and inaccurate straws at that. The team has been much improved, there's just no way around it.
