How far will Quinn slide?

Romo was one of the highest rated passers in the NFL last season, so yes, I would say we are better off than them. If 21 teams, some of them with absolutely terrible QB situations, decide they dont want him...why the hell should we want him?

And then fell apart and turned the ball over time and time again. Sorry but IMHO Romo is not the second coming.

Its a big reality check for him. He believed his own hype before the draft and was telling the media that he deserved to be the #1 pick, and how special and prepared he was.

A BIG reality check.

This guy was at one point the # 1 pick.

Well Carolina is not taking him, they just traded with the Jets and have the 25th pick.

Unless someone trades up to get Quinn he is going to be there at 22.

Mort just said Cleveland is trying to trade back up... Please trade with em Jerruh. They will have a high 1st rounder next year

Because it doesnt hurt to pick up a guy like Quinn and see what he has. If Romo gets hurt or digresses it would be nice to have a guy in place that can step in and get the job done. Competition is a good thing. Plus if Romo does pan out, which we all want, then you can turn around and trade Quinn.

Keyshawn says the Panthers should take Quinn.

I'm sure Delhomme appreciates that. Might be a little tense in the minicamp lockerroom.

I would be all over that. Spencer or Branch there with their #36 pick.

That would be the ideal scenerio. Hopefully GB passes on Quinn.

That would be sweet.

Yes, his name is Brad Johnson and is the backup QB.

I think Jax is the team who has the best chance at taking him, barring a trade by a team who goes up to get him. I thought it was a good idea on the new comm. to take Quinn and put him out of the public eye and media spotlight and put him another room. At this point, unless Jax takes Quinn, he could free fall even further because the other teams in front of us do not really have a justifiable need for a 1st round QB, but again, the possibility of a trade up for Quinn could change all that.

InmanRoshi, I agree with you 101%, I would be all over that trade with Cleveland if they offered it!

Brad Johnson is a solid vet backup but he has ZERO affect on the long term QB situation.

Right. How long have we gone without a franchise QB? Would be nice to have two possibles for a change.

Is Quinn really a franchise QB? He looked bad in most big games at ND.

Notre Dame as a team was overmatched in those games, lets not buy into all the ESPN hype that Quinn lost those games. Dallas might have a chance to draft a top 10 prospect at 22, I dont think you should pass on that type of talent. He would clearly be the best player available if he were to fall to 22. Just my opinion

How many "big games" did Romo play in during his days in college?
