How Good can Javante Williams be?

Not about to make any grand proclamations on any one back.
But I do think we have a better overall RB room now

No doubt Dowdle is better than all of them, with the exception of Blue. Blue might be special, but we'll see. Dowdle was a decent back.
Point about Blue is he's not a better inside runner, pass blocker, or secure ball carrier. I hope Blue becomes a great RB and blows Rico's production out the water. However, Rico was a complete, workhorse RB and that's where I believe Rico is better.

If you're talking about a.guy you run all game. But if you have a committee, ours is much much better. And with the right guys, more reliable. Plus, this way allows us to focus on other positions.

We've had lots of top backs in Dallas. We've never had any success with the bell cow type. Not since Emmitt.

So, committee it is, which is fine by me. We have bigger worries than to hold out for only the obvious top backs in the draft or free agency

We can find a few jewels in the late rounds and still have a top run game.
Yes exactly, I'm talking about a guy who can carry the whole load for the most part. People forget Rico was decent paired with Tony Pollard also. I have high hopes for Blue n Mafah, but Rico is the most complete RB at the moment due to actual NFL results.

It's no secret that Guyton has had his problems in the past. If he hasn't improved his blocking, might be difficult for some RBs to find great success in 2025. Many of us will be hoping for Williams to be a surprise but hoping surely won't help if he's actually washed up.

I'll be hoping right along with many of us but whatever happens in that regard will speak for itself. Let's take note of what occurs and accept it for whatever is revealed when the action speaks the truth.

I say you're dead wrong!!

was Tony Pollard just a third down running back ??because that's odd they literally on his franchise tag he played for us for $11 million he was our lead back, and then the Titans have him as his lead back, that is who Blue is or better, he has potential he has the same size weight and speed is Jamir Gibbs. Somehow you think Tony was 3rd down back, no and Blue is TP before he got his injury.

That that's his floor in my opinion is Pollard his ceiling is Gibbs of course he's not a 3 down power back of course he's not going to give you an extreme amount of snaps all year that is why you have a group of the other guys and I'm telling you right now I'm not delusional you're delusional i'm saying that our running back room right now is better than anything we've had the last 2 years you add in the improvements in offensive line a new scheme that's right rico is overrated it wasn't a trash online the O line was trashed earlier in the year rico Dowdle is an average jag at running back he's one of those guys you could give him enough carries he'll get you 1000 yards...

It's all the other things he doesn't have anything special to offer no big long runs no touchdowns he doesn't have a lot of moves you can get that from Mafa yes I mean really I mean that's who he was rico was an undrafted free agent he didn't even get a 7th round grade he didn't even get a 5th round grade do you not understand how ridiculous you sound that these guys that we just drafted or brought in can't be better than Rico, rico was those dudes lol

I mean so don't try to sit here and tell me how our old undrafted free agent that took four years to develop finally had 1000 yards and they were a very boring thousand yards , Yes Boring ohh year long literally no long runs nothing over 20 yards hardly had any wiggle not a lot of moves yes I like the guy but he's completely replaceable ,

somehow can't be replaced by a guy we picked up in Mafa or with Williams or or Sanders they are not washed you're not using them to run the damn football 600 carries this is going to be a true running back by committee just like San Francisco had other teams have they did it successfully I remember San Francisco three or four years ago they went to a Super Bowl with Garopollo at quarterback and a three headed monster at running back they shared it almost equally they all had over 500 yards each a couple more but I'm saying they were all over 500 each..

A running back by committee can work if it's done correctly it was not done correctly the last couple of years but it can you can take either two guys or a 3rd guy and you can mix them in at the right time against the right defense you use a game plan and your play calling and yes this could work I say 100 percent without a doubt are running backroom is the best it's been in a couple of years..
Lol
Bottom line, Rico has been proven in the NFL and was the workhorse for the Cowboys last season. Sanders n Williams didn't come close the Dowdle's production last year (4.6 per carry). So, you're saying 2 rookies will be better, but Blue isn't a workhorse RB, and Rico is better in certain aspects than Mafah, at the very least. You're either too emotional, hard headed, ignorant or you can't read, respectfully. Again, I'm not saying Rico is the greatest, however, he's more complete or more proven then any RB on Dallas roster right now. If you disagree tell me any of these RBs are more complete and/or has ran for 1000 yards in the NFL last season.

Stop trying to attach Blue to Gibbs like that's truth, you want to call me delusional but look at you. Stretching to compare a collegiate RB2, 5th round pick to a #12 overall pick...you, my friend is the one living in delusion. I'm stating fact, meanwhile, you're projecting, horribly.

How many touch downs did Rico score?
Who's a more complete RB capable of being the the workhorse, and is better in more aspects of being a RB1 than Rico on the roster? That was the point I was making, but some guys got sensitive.
