How Good can Javante Williams be?

If he returns to full form, is it possible we found ourselves a back? I mean, he has a lot of potential especially playing with a guy like Blue.

The question is, how much is his injury still impacting him today?
They’re just hoping/needing him to be good enough to be serviceable until the 2 rookies are up to speed in pass protection!
Anything beyond that is gravy!
Just googling, I came across a Broncos article claiming his rushing snaps last year came vs 67% stacked boxes. By far the highest percentage of their team and one of the highest in the league for the early part of the season!

I think the implication is Blue can't run between the tackles. But I think he can, especially with our guards.
Yes he can,
however you don't want to keep going to that well,

that's something you surprised the team with here and there....

the more Tony Pollard was forced to be a regular running back the less effective he became in big runs and then you add in the injury but you don't want to do that that often,

but yes he can run between the tackles there's 20 minutes of highlight reels and you can see some of them went in the A and B gaps you just have to be able to hit it quick and the offensive line has to have a hole but the guy is the same height weight and speed as Jamir Gibbs which happens to be on a better offense with a better offensive line and they had last year a better play caller..

so if any of that comes together here,
blue will be a lot more than a gadget player, but we still need players that get The Dirty yards and obvious run situations you don't want to overuse Jayden Blue like they did with Tony Pollard... I mean even the Titans overused the guy that's not where he's been most effective but he's still getting 1000 yards every season and he's very similar to Jayden Blue, I think that's his floor but Jamir gives us his ceiling if we can get this line blocking and give him a crease and get the timing right on the handoffs..

I am curious to see what our coaches have in store for the schemes and whether Prescott is going to be under center more to better disguise the run versus past situations...

There's some good stuff.

Our RT does not suck in the running game though. With better interior players, that bodes well for all the backs.
steele sucks in pass defense. has no lateral movement. he has lost a lot in run game as well as he is not able to move as quickly and as much....run blocking is not just straight ahead pushing as people think. at this point he is average to below average RT.

You can fairly critique his pass pro but he has always been very good at run blocking. Second half of last season, I saw no issues with his run blocking. Looked like he had gotten back or very close to back to his former self.

He is long & nasty as a blocker with enough agility to lead the play. I will defend that aspect of his play until I see otherwise.

That an incredible reach. Blue, who has not played a down in the NFL is better than Pollard?
I said he has potential to be better I said or better but he is the same player that coming from the same circumstances so yes I watched blue in college I know he could be that player that's not a reach at all it's a reach saying he's not going to make it in the NFL it's a reach everybody saying that our draft picks before they play a single down where bad draft picks you know who you are people saying that Tyler Smith was a bad draft pick that there was a reach for him they're saying that we shouldn't have got Booker at 12 you know you guys are saying the same things in my opinion blue is every bit the same type of player Tony Pollard is that's just saying you should stop acting like the Cowboys didn't get a 3rd round player in the 5th round because it was a deep running back draft and yes he had some fumbling issues but yes Tony Pollard and Blue are very much the same type of players so that means if this coaching staff is worth their salt they'll be able to recreate that easily..

I find it hilarious that it's okay for a lot of everyone else to use potential and forecast what players might be or what they won't be but when I do it apparently I'm not allowed I said he has a possibility to be better because he's faster he's more dynamic that's a fact we just need to see it on the field i'm just giving you my opinion on his potential that's all any of these players in the nfl are right now I want to hear anyone's opinion then I mean how about all these mock drafts and everybody saying how great all these players are and how many first round players end up being busts??

Too many of the count by how am I any different than anyone else i'm going by what I saw in college and what I think he could do with this team in a similar role that Tony Pollard had here he can do the same things if not better because he's faster I think he could be more dynamic we're talking about a 200 pound with a very solid frame version of Turpin.....

I mean the dude is built exactly the same as Jamyr Gibbs so yes his potential could be that but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen but he's the exact same height weight and speed as Jamir gives everyone said we needed a Jamir gives what we have one if he meets that potential.

No ones giving guarantees i'm giving you my opinion because I watched him first hand he's a lot more than just a gadget back...

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming

Broaddus isn't like Jerry in any way. Your reasoning here is embarrassing.
What’s embarrassing is forecasting a player’s ability before he ever steps on the field. What’s more embarrassing is comparing him to a very average back in Pollard. Any sportscaster can say anything and the weak minded gobble it so it’s a very fair to compare his statement to our snake oil salesman JJ. Keep drinking the koolaid! This is a 7 win or less team in the upcoming season. Don’t listen to me. Go get those season tickets and merchandise. Jerry and all your spewing sportscasters love you.
