how good is carr?

Currently he is over-hyped on this board, but he is a pretty good CB.

This is a good question. I just tried looking him up on youtube and can't find anything but a grainy college montage.

He is a good Corner....if this was Madden he would be like a 93-95 overall

He reminds of Chris Mcalister in his prime.....and that is damn good

This may not be the most reliable source, but looking at the Chiefs' board and seeing how mad they are that they couldn't re-sign him... I'd say he's a damn good cornerback.

Only saw a few games...from i can tell..not a guy who will get a ton of picks...

But he can play the ball....sticks to his man...and pretty much every pass will get contested.

If you watched Chris Mcalister...or maybe even R Mathis....i would say around that....

I'll only do coverage stats for these four, because those are the most important.

He's a number two corner, certainly not a shut down corner

#1 and #2 corner really has no meaning anymore with all the motion offenses use. Almost nobody follows receivers around anymore.

He's a coming, rising player. Mcalister in his prime with Pro Bowl / borderline All Pro. Carr isn't there yet.

A shorter Chris McCalister, strong man to man press corner who lacks great speed.

yeas....he's a 4.4 speed..not bad.

In madden he would be like a 91-93 speed? not horrible (best example to use) lol

Gosh, Scandrick was terrible last year according those stats.

I live in KC, been to about 4 games, and watched the rest on TV. He's pretty good. The Chiefs fans love him...most claim he is a shut down corner. He's a good tackler, hard hitter, and physical. From I what I saw last season, he has very good coverage skills. He likes to jam and force receivers off their routes.

I really enjoy your sig pic :laugh2:

I feel he is a very good cornerback. He plays to the strengths of Rob Ryan's Defense.

Put it to you like this, You might see a lot of coverage sacks with him and a healthy Jenkins. I'm not joking.

He does not have to be..just a guy who can cover...and make plays here and there....

Which he does...even more...Go watch Chris Mcalister..wasn't shut down..but a damn good corner

That ranking is just based on cover snaps per reception. But yeah, he sucked.

i sure hope henderson can fix this secondary. man those numbers are just terrible. the pass rush was not that bad last year to warrent the cbs from covering that badly.
