They don’t have confidence in him at least not at WR2. He got a lot of opportunities when Cooks was out.He doesn't disappear, he stops getting targets.

LOL. As stated, word games don't change #2 WR, which is a top priority but enough over this for now. I'll revisit after the draft......Lol,
“Open to looking at” doesn’t exactly scream priority!
That’s more if it’s there, and that’s the best option.
There's a reason Stephen Jones used the word "explosive " for #2 WR. Tolbert's impact on the offense is minimal, even with X number of catches.Kind of hard to believe.
right! lolNo, I think they will take TMac, or Golden. If they don't then yes except to be told how good we already are at WR.
He's had 3 full years to prove he deserves the #2 spot, and this with him working out with Dak each offseason, but still can't do it.Some of these comments are incredible to me. Tolbert is the definition of spare unless you have the lowest of standards. He's a sub-200 lb, 4.5 guy who doesn't play with toughness and who has made numerous crucial mental errors.
We all have our pet cats, but I have no idea what people see in him other than hopium.
Mingo is like Larry Fitzgerald. Tolbert is like Marvin Harrison. That’s all you need to know.We used a 4th round pick on Mingo last season, they had a 2nd round grade on him during the draft years ago. We didn't see him get a lot of targets, but it still remains that they had a high grade, and spent a 4th round pick on him.
As for Tolbert, they're selling us that he had the most touchdowns for a WR on this team with 7 I believe it was. If he did 7 last season, just imagine (in their minds) how much he could improve, maybe it'll be 17!!
With that said, we obviously have a need for a WR #2 who can offset some of the attention placed on Lamb. Do you believe they'll try to sell us that we don't need a WR early in the draft because of these two players???? Please give your thoughts..
Remember to think like the Jonses!!
Trust me, I know that's exactly what Jerry and Stephen see in them!!!Mingo is like Larry Fitzgerald. Tolbert is like Marvin Harrison. That’s all you need to know.
He had no camp, no chemistry, no trust with any QB. May not have even known the complete offense.
How do you know this? They don’t have confidence in him at least not at WR2.
He only had 16 targets, with only 5 catches and there’s a lot of talk our first or second pick could be a WR. Mingo was here long enough to make more of an impact. He even started a game and only had one target for zero catches. How do you know this?
I've been saying all off-season don't be surprised if they don't take a WR until Day 3, if at all.We used a 4th round pick on Mingo last season, they had a 2nd round grade on him during the draft years ago. We didn't see him get a lot of targets, but it still remains that they had a high grade, and spent a 4th round pick on him.

So you just have your opinion and no actual proof or evidence of what you said?He only had 16 targets, with only 5 catches and there’s a lot of talk our first or second pick could be a WR. Mingo was here long enough to make more of an impact. He even started a game and only had one target for zero catches.
Turpin? And they love Flournoy.I wouldn't doubt it they think one of these guys is the #2 and Brooks is a #3.
There’s evidence based off his performance in Carolina and with us. With Carolina last season with an improving young QB he only had 12 catches for 121 yards and no TDs. They obviously weren’t happy with him and unloaded him. Rush didn’t play that bad and Mingo was given opportunities. When we traded for Amari during the season he made an immediate impact. So you saw enough from Mingo to be comfortable with him at WR2?So you just have your opinion and no actual proof or evidence of what you said?
Because he wasn't in Dallas long enough to prove anything with the limited snaps he got in a new offense and with a backup QB.
I feel like they won't use Turpin as a traditional WR, but bring him in on plays designed specifically for him.Turpin? And they love Flournoy.
post of your career!!!! I could totally see that, it just seems odd that we have all these picks and we could surely get one early! But as we know, we've got a lot of "resources" already at our disposal, and that makes them feel happy.I've been saying all off-season don't be surprised if they don't take a WR until Day 3, if at all.
You got it. Tolbert showed last season that he is a decent player, not a true #2 if you ask most people, I think, but in their minds?
Mingo will play. You can bet he will be no lower than #4 on the chart.
I wouldn't doubt it they think one of these guys is the #2 and Brooks is a #3.
First thing I was thinking when you made your previous comment, Coop was able to come in and help us right away, you could say that's because he's a better player or what have you, or bigger expectations were for him, so he got targets coming his way. We shall see what happens, I don't think they should overlook this, Dak needs helpThere’s evidence based off his performance in Carolina and with us. Had a solid season last year. What else do they have? We hear how good Tolbert is every summer, then the season starts and he's a wasted roster spot.
