I'm deep in Commanders country and I'm stuck watching the Redzone channel/highlights to check in on my Cowboys. Does anyone have input on how Spencer has played since returning to the lineup?

Great to hear. From the small sample that I've seen he has looked good. Just wanted to make sure I was getting the whole story. I'm so glad he is back in the lineup. I can't wait to see what this defensive line can do down the stretch.

Spencer is getting increasingly more active and making a few plays here and there in limited action. Nice to see him contributing and it looks like he'll only get better as his conditioning improves. He made a nice run stop that I saw and put some pressure on Wilson a couple of times. Nice work, all things considered.

Got to be happy with his play.

He's been very evident from my point of view.

If he continues to improve..

and they get Lawrence in the lineup and then add Sam..

plus Josh Brent..

the defense could dominate like the offense is doing.

Then its Katie Bar The Door.

You betcha. This defense should get better and better the more Marinelli works with them and their fitness continues to improve. Overall, this team is only beginning to scratch the surface as far as actually displaying what they're fully capable of. Eliminate the excessive number of mistakes we're still making and there's no telling how far this team might be able to take themselves. Maybe they really ARE the right kinda guys, huh?

Spencer looked outstanding last night.

I almost forgot what it looked like to see a guy who can get pressure from the edge.

he has looked better each week. hopefully in a couple more weeks he is really in good shape, confident in his knee and ready to pressure qb's down the stretch. having anther speed guy on the other side should only help

I thought he played a great game. Looked like the Spencer of 2012 to me. That was real encouraging to see. I cannot wait to see him and Demarcus Lawrence together on passing downs with Melton and Crawford.

I watch the highlights and i saw a lot of Spencer.

I'd be dumbfounded if the staff doesn't see fit to give him the go-ahead to participate a bit more as long as he's not feeling the after-affects too badly after the action he's seen to this point. To me, it's actually difficult to detect any difference in the way he's performing when he's in there. All I've seen that's changed is the number of reps. You can't help but admire what he's gone through to get back to where he is now. His real character seems to be coming through nowadays.

Spencer was all over the place. He had continuous pressure on Wilson all game. I don't think he got a sack. But pressure was enough to make things hard on their QB.

He Almost got to the QB several times.

He appears to be 85% back to where he was during the 2012 season. He was great yesterday. Man, what a shot in the arm he will be if this level of play continues throughout the season. I was not expecting this type of impact from him.

If Lawrence can apply the identical pressure from the other side.....

Then this team might be already in place. Great QB, great WRs, best RB, best offensive line, great LBs (can you imagine McClain, Lee and Carter?), and a secondary that simply needed to lose Claiborne to play well. Oh, and the most accurate kicker in history. I'd still be on the lookout for a ball hawking FS and more defensive linemen (you can never have enough) but this team is looking pretty good!
