The problem is you can also get a complete dud and have Dak and Zeke get slammed into oblivion. If you have a great o-line you don't mess with that cohesion by trying to be cheap.

I'll play the Devils Advocate. What if we trade Zack for a #1 and a #3. Package those picks with our picks and move up to get a franchise QB? would that ease the pain?

No, because what will a 'franchise qb' do here under an 'abc123' Jason Garrett offense, especially when he's getting drove into the ground play after play and our runningback is getting stuffed because no o-line.?

I'd want at least 2 first rounders. He's still young, healthy and the best guard in football...and the reason I say 2 first rounders is because I'd assume a team is asking us what it would take, at this point I do not see Jerry shopping Martin around.
