Lots of post here and all are conjecture on potential on a team that we have not seen together yet. However, Some things are in place to see where we are going.

1) Offense - B+
a) New QB with talent
b) a very good run blocking OL
c) Good to very good pass catching receivers, RBs, and TEs
d) A good pass blocking OL that need a mobile QB when the RT fails to block
e) An excellent group of RBs

2) Defense - C
a) A DL that has some potential but injuries will effect this group that is better at run defense
b) A DL that has a little potential for pass rush but a final cast of 1's are not in place
c) LBs are thin at this position and injuries will dictate success, this group will be the ones for making turnovers happen
d) Secondary has gotten better and will have to in case the DL does not apply press on QB

3) Special Teams appears at this time to be very good.

Conclusion: The offense will be a run first, second, and third. I expect the QB will get a chance to learn while the running game tires to own the clock, score 27 points a game. The defense while giving up yards (except against weak offenses) and will make the take aways happen so that our run game can own the clock. the group that I expect to come though this year is special teams. I hope that Romo stays on the bench until after the BY as I see the schedule getting harder and will need two QBs to get to the playoffs. I predicted the Cowboys to go 9-7 and make the playoffs. :)

PS
This should be Romo's last season
