I'm guilty of complaining all week about my disgust for Garrett and how this team is run but what if...

What if this is the year we finally do something in the post season. Totally unexpected. I'm tired of riding in the back seat. We're the freaking Dallas Cowboys.

I'm not delusional and I don't think this team is a Title contender but I really hope we make some kind of statement in the next few weeks that let's teams know what's up for next year.

Romo is too good to not have a great playoff run at some point. Maybe not this year but it just needs to happen.

I really don't know the point I'm trying to make but hopefully we just kick some *** for the next few weeks.

Hopefully we play to win and don't hold anything back.

I'm right there with ya man. Look no further than the Giants' title run in 2007. Coughlin was on the way out, Eli was universally panned and ... boom. They're champions.

This team has too many flaws for me to expect a title run, but the fact that that mere possibility exists is why we all watch from season to season.

it must be pretty dang important. lol Im nervous for a game that nobody I am related to plays in. Never been more nervous over a freakin football game.... feels really wierd man.

Lowered expectations makes for less stress- just another big loss probably.

My expectations and feelings are in check because of the past.

Imagine what it's like being a Skins fan? This is foreign territory for them and they probably have that giddy feeling that we used to get.

We just don't have that championship mentality.

New England isn't even a very good team but they believe so much that they are entitled to championships and they end up finding themselves in that game.

I would be happy with a change of direction in our seasons end. I'm so sick of being embarrassed by the last game the Cowboys play in a season.

That said I hope the last game isn't for a couple of weeks. I won't be happy either way if they lose today.

Weird things happen in the playoffs. Once I saw the Cardinals make their run to within an eyelash of winning it all it convinced me you don't even have to be very good anymore to win a Championship.

So while the odds are long, we'd have a puncher's chance. The bounces go our way, we play our best football. It can happen.

Yep - almost like an abuse victim not trusting that this is all real yet...waiting for that other shoe to drop, but hoping and praying each week this ride does not come to an end.

How important is this game?

I am going out on a limb and say this is a "must win"!

.

This and the Giants play with their Defensive line taking over games in their two runs make yout think what if Ware and Spencer could turn up some of that heat?

its very important.

What I am concerned about more than anything is walt coleman.

I imagine this is going to be a close 4th qtr game.

The national media and the advertisers want griffin to win desperately. They are openly pulling for the guy.

I have a really bad feeling its going to be a close game and late in the game there is going to be some dumb questionable call that goes against us and makes us punt or gives them a first down.

coleman had last weeks game and garrett and the staff were not happy with him and they openly complained after the game.

put those two things together coupled with the fact that its in fedex field as the national sunday night game and I think we need to have two possession lead late or the odd flags will come out.

Ware's supposedly so banged up he's not expected to be himself the rest of the year.

Ah, the refs hate us/massive anti-Cowboys conspiracy defense in case we lose.

Well played. I'm convinced.

ware has been so hurt the past two weeks he has trainers and other players in the huddle buttoning his chinstrap because he couldn't lift his right arm that high.

he is a fighter and hopefully makes a handful of plays late for us in the 4th qtr like he did against cincy and Pittsburgh.

no I don't buy into conspiracy's. And its not an excuse built in for losing.

its a legitimate concern today. We complained about this same officiating crew last week and nationally everyone is pulling for griffin.

combine that with 90000 skins fans and human nature plays a part.

btw, who cares what you think?

It's huge. Long dry spell. Repeated failures in similar circumstances. Aging core.

Getting off to a good start, early lead is important. At least don't fall behind by more than one score and in the second half focus on field position. With RGIII, protecting against big plays deep and wrapping up tackles (M Jenkins!) is essential. Can't forget about their capable RB either. And, of course, Romo must not turn the ball over and the entire offense must continue its recent trends, including, maybe especially, the O-line's improved performance.

Very..this team needs to have something to build the future with and a win today will do that.

Coleman is calling the game again, in back to back weeks? Isn't that highly unsusal?

I think so.

unless I am wrong. I heard mickey and broaddus talking about it and broaddus tweeted about it.

hopefully I am wrong.

Very important towards establishing the tone each team wants to set not only in the division, but the conference as a whole.

I'll go on a limb and say that whomever triumphs in this battle, gets to at least the divisional round...barring injury to RGIII or Romo.
