I don't think BP will put up with this much longer - we might have a new kicker come Monday night against the Eagles (after the BYE week). I agree we need to get the ball in the end zone more - this is the reason we've lost the three games - not entirely Cortez' fault.

It's not totally his fault...far from...but his sole purpose is too make field goals, especially within forty yards, if you cannot, than maybe you should think about fliping burgers for a profession instead.

Bare minimum - kickers should be automatic from within 35 yards. Cundiff was automatic from within 35. It was from 35-45 that he had trouble.

Cortez has missed close FGs and an extra point. He doesn't have the previous reputation and credibility like Akers to live off of either...oh by the way, Akers was injured and proceeded to make a game-winner as well.

If Cortez is still on the team on Tuesday I'll be convinced he's holding Bill's daughter hostage somewhere.

I'm upset he missed a chipshot FG, but what put me over the edge was him blaming Romo for HIS screw up, eventhough Romo did his job to dang near perfection.

That's two times he blames someone else for his screwups. ANd that's two times too many. We should just find some weak legged veteran out there that has accuracy from within 40 yards and then resign Cundiff when we're eligible to do so.

I like his kickoffs, but he is very unpredictable on field goals and extra points.

The worst thing is that he blames other guys when he misses...that can't be tolerated again.

I was pissed at the guy already when you consider his misses made the losses to washington and to seattle possible.

But when I saw his instant reaction to his chip shot miss was to blame Romo I just cannot stand the guy any longer he needs to be replaced ASAP!

It annoyed me that he was the only one trotting off the field when we lost. Everyone else looked annoyed and pissed and he just had that body language of "oh well...not my fault..."

I don't think Cortez will be here much longer anyway. If you are Parcells, you have to cut this guy and now. If you are going to play close games all year you have to have a dependable kicker. Where Parcells finds that guy I don't know but it sure ain't Cortez.

It's one thing to have a bad kicker. It's another thing to have a bad kicker who likes to blame everyone else.

I agree. I don't like the constant finger pointing.

He knows his job is not secure, so he keeps trying to blame everyone else for the bad kicks.

Hopefully his luck has run out, and we will see him waived this week...

He's the biggest POS kicker I have ever seen- I have no idea how he has a job in this league.

Can we have a 5th option on the poll.

One that says...I hate silly polls about players that I can not stand. :p:
