Sorry but if they are using King as an excuse to act like buttclowns then that means I have that much less respect for them.

When youre up 40 in the 4th you run the ball and put the other team out of their misery. Really this is going to be counterproductive because as has been said teams will take this type of thing to heart and had they shown class teams would have just been intimidated.

I agree to the extent that they right now are in early Mike Tyson career mode.

Going in "mad" and doing something about it on the field are two different stories.

Give me a break. All Goodell is going to do is fine the guy that puts Brady out for the season. Vince Wilfork's already been fined a few times and one of his cheap shots took out J.P. Losman's knee and Losman missed the next 4 games.

I predict it will be a Jets player when the Pats play them in a rematch. There's no love lost between Mangini and Belicheat and you know Mangini would love nothing better than to spoil their season with a knockout of Brady or even Moss. The Jets players will have even more incentive because you know Belicheat will run up the score on the Jets to humiliate Mangini again. Only this time, Belicheat will get his - BIG TIME!!

Further, I don't think coaches care. Every former coach I've heard talk on the subject .... Jimmy Johnson, Bill Cowher, Bill Parcells .... all said that the notion of running running up the score is ridiculous. I haven't heard Ditka's take on it yet. So evidently it's only the fans who hate the Patriots that really care, and they're just looking for a reason to hate the Patriots anyway. And players like Randall Godfrey, who played so poorly that he'd rather shift attention away that he stole money that week.
