How long before trade talks begin

Just wondering how long it will take before there are "rumors" of us trading with the Dolphins for Ted Ginn.

Miami drafted two WR's plus Pat White who will be used as a QB/WR yesterday. They also get Greg Camarillo back from his ACL injury and their rookie from last year (I think he played at Hawaii) really impressed them.

We drafted 2 ILB (J. Williams/Hodge) and 2 OLB (Butler/Williams), so we now have:
Ware/Butler
Spencer/Ellis/Williams,B.
James/J. Williams
Brooking/Hodge
Carpenter/Rogers/Stewart/Octavian

Carpenter for Ginn straight up. Both are 2006 draftee's who haven't lived up to expectations, Ginn's done alright, but he's not a BP guy.

Didn't BP want Carpenter and Fasano last year and we said no and gave up Akin? Don't know if that's true, but some folks were saying that. If BP is one thing, it's loyalty to his guys. Carp is his guy.

I don't know why Parcells would want to be reminded of one of his biggest draft flops in history, plus Carpenter doesn't seem suitable for their defense.

In general, I don't think that there will be any big deals that involve incremental pick-ups of salary (not that a Ginn deal would have).

Jerry has just gone cheap for whatever reason (economy..Ware, both). He got rid of something like $30 mm in expenses with cuts and FA non-resignings and has added something under $15 mm in new signings and FA retentions.

Sure, Ginn hasn't lived up to his 1st round status but his talent would still be better than what we could get in a 3rd round WR next year, imo.
