... Price and A-Train explode? If my employer wanted to pay me for doing nothing, I'd be pleased as punch, but something tells me these guys would take it personally.

i dont think a-train is ever going to explode, maybe come in and do solid, but not explode. Price could have a big chance to explode, just as Terry Glenn has this year. Price is going to be a dangerous weapon if he ever gets some real playing time, and im sure this will happen by week 6, or possibly against the eagles.

The NFL is a funny place, consider Jacob Rogers. Have you ever been hurt at work, fired, and given two years salary to cheer you up? How bout' Quinthy. You ever fail a drug test, get fired, And stand to make a million for it?

I think what he means is how long until these guys start running their mouths and being angry with their lack of playing time. I don't think either of these guys really has any leverage to work with. Thomas should just be glad he's getting a paycheck, because nobody would've signed him but us, and it's easy money for Price. He'll get his opportunities before the season is over.

The Packers worked out Reshard Lee. Another team would have signed Thomas down the stretch. Price may have sat in Free Agency for awhile, but he would have been picked up too.

I'm starting to wonder how this is going to look amongst future potential free agents with Parcells around. I mean, really, what has Marion Barber showed us that gets him suited up over A-Train 2 weeks in a row? Nothing! He has been nothing more than a draft pick. We should be dressing Jones, Thomas, Thompson, and Polite.

A-Train must've done something rwally stupid to piss BP off. Like the previous poster stated, there's no reason he shouldn't be dresseing ahead of MB3. We certainly could've used him on 2nd and 2 from the 3 yd line on Sunday.

What is with all the A-Train love of late? Are we talking about the same guy here?

I'm not sure I've ever seen anything much in A-Train on a consistent basis since he's been in the league.

Just because he is getting resltess, doesn't mean he should get the nod.

He'd be ridin' the pine on almost any team in the league.

I think any complaining A-train may have is not really associated for this season, but next year. I think he could be content to just sit and get paid, but the next contract he is offered will be based on what teams see of him this season. If he is not playing, they won't see anything and he will only get a league minimum contract offer. He wants more.

I think A-train can help Dallas more than either Thompson or Barber at this time. He is more experienced. I just think these young guys are further along than Parcells thought they would be and really wants to get them more experience. It is not just about now, it is also about the future.

He is ridin' the pine in Dallas. He is a good back up. No one is asking him to be the starter. He can contribute more in the passing game as a receiver and blocker than either Thompson or Barber at this time. In the long run, he won't be here and those young guys will. Sacrifice a little now with the young guys for the betterment of the future.

Yes but they enjoy what they do for a living and want to be out on the field. I would be more concerned if they did not care and was just collecting a paycheck. Having said that both guys are going to have to deal with it until they do get their oppertunity to play and they need to make the most of it when it happens.

Who was it sad drugs were bad for you. I wonder if my employer will give me a million bucks cause I was stoned at work. I some how doubt that. Man, I'm in the wrong profession.

Maybe they will explode and cause problems....but I want people to think about this.

Last year so many were calling for Reshard Lee to get playing time...he is a young guy, get him in there was the call.
Now sure it was because eddie was doing so bad but still all last year I heard get the young guy/s (henson as well) in there...we have to know what they can do and so on.

But this year we are playing the young RBs, the WRs and other players and people still seem to complain about this guy or that guy (a-train or price) not getting in there.

If people want the young guys to get playing time to see what we have and to develope them for the future (Thomson, Barber and Crayton)....then why are so many on here calling for A-Train and Peerless price to be activated.

I honestly think Price was a signing that they found affordable and decided was purely for Insurance in case glenn went down. If they just wanted another WR they would have gotten one that was noted for ST play as well instead of a guy that is not really a ST guy (yes he has returned before but not very well).

With A-Train I honestly do not think that Thompson would have done as well as he did in the camps/preseason. How many times do you get an undrafted rookie RB from a small school that makes it on the 53 man roster and actually has the skills to play.

I think they thought Julius Jones as the starter, A-Train as the backup and Barber as a young guy....I do not really think they thought Thompson would have done as well as he has but since he has done so well they have an odd man out in A-Train.

However I would not be shocked, and actually expect it...to see A-Train playing this week with barber not activated due to the Philly D blitzing and A-Train being the one who would be the best at pass blocking.

In the end I guess you have something to consider...whether those two guys (a-train and price) play or not, they are getting paid and they are only here for a one year deal. So if they sit they sit.
