Some of y’all are legit in La la land. This guy isn’t even healthy enough to sign. Medicals, physicals, and other preliminary testing aren’t even scheduled for multiple weeks. Nobody is going to sign him without looking at him.

Answer: twice as long as it will take for his knee to blow out again.

He's not coming to Dallas anyway.
Just another game being played to drive up the price.
Add another name to the list.

its so funny how clueless some are - OBJ is a name, thats it at this point - He's a name with two back to back ACL injuries and hasn't been cleared to play. Theres a legit chance hes not effective at all this year, there is a chance he could play and would be nothing what he was before, and theres a chance he could be a good addition.

This is why you can't overreact, over pay or sign to a long term deal just to sign a name....stop fixiating on the the name and what the player was, focus on what the player is now which is an injured, 30 year old wr, with previous drama history and an uncertain future.

It could be a good signing and it could work out, but no reason to knee jerk anything on this one.
To add, also an extensive injury history. It's become doubtful at this point that he'll play all that much w/o injury.

Better than 80% drop rate Lamb and obsolete Tolbert with one leg and one hand.

Chances are that Amari Cooper has warned Odell Beckam about Dak and doesn't want to come here and be blamed when Dak chokes. Amari has likely warned Beckham about Dak's tendency to throw the ball all over the place when he panics, and then allows his receivers to take the blame in the media.
If Beckham wanted to come here he probably would have already came. Players talk, and share things with each other that they won't say to the media outlets.

Cool story, bro.

Come on dude, Lamb is a much better wr at this point and the hyperbole on the drop rate is silly.

Tolbert is a rookie and development player...

If you are going to compare him to anyone it should be to Noah or Washington, if obj is healthy I like his number 3 potential for sure over Noah or Washington...I would still take gallop as 2

The fact you are considering CD #1 WR makes your argument irrelevant. Real #1 WRs don’t lead in drop rate for their entire careers and need gimmick formation just to get open.

On this team cd is the number 1 wr, the fact you don't understand that makes your argument irrelevant

See two can play at that lame game.

We have money get it done.
well, its more complicated and lot has to be considered. on paper the money is available on the cap. but that money rolls over to next year if not used, which will help the cap next year as we have to redo a bunch of contracts. there are considerations, do we walk away rfom Dak, huge cap hit, do we re-up him, which is tough negotiations. CD and Diggs contract negotiations, as they will be eligible. 20M is a lot of flexibility. so yeah, its complicated.

but with that said, we should sign him. go all in like the rams. this year as good as any. we will handle next year, next year and continue to push dead money to future....we can't worry about next year and let this year's opportunity go by

People see a name and think one way...they don't take time to consider the fact he has had 2 back to back acl injuries and there's a chance he's not even going to be a viable wr anymore

Signing Odell Beckham to anything other than about a $5 million dollar, one-year deal is like buying a car that has had to have the transmission replaced twice in the first 60,000 miles.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense if you're thinking long-term.. and might not even work for you right now.
