In your opinion, how long do you think Rob Ryan stays as our d-coordinator? Some people probably think he will leavefor a head coaching job after this year, but I personally think he stays for at least two years or so.

I would think he would want a normal offseason and at least one more draft to make this defense really nasty. Thats just me though. What are your thoughts?

I would not be surprised to see him in Dallas over the next 2 to 3 years.

I think he's only here for 2 years.

If the D plays well and the Jets keep playing well (stupid, but probably affects perception of both GMs and fans), I think he's gone after this year.

No way does he turn down any HC job that is offered to him.

I think its too soon to ask that question because he has not done anything in Dallas yet.

If the Defense is great this year, and the Boys win the Super Bowl or go deep in the playoffs he is gone. Someone will offer him a head coaching spot immediately after the Super Bowl.

I dont see him turning down a head coaching job.

With that being said, I hope he stays 2 or 3 years. But he will eventually be a head coach somewhere.

2 years. I don't see the D starting that fast without a real offseason. That alone pushes him to 2 years. No one knows but I think by the second half of the season we have arguably the best D in football. If we sign a FS of course.

no more than 2 years and possibly 1 if he gets a HC opportunity.

Hopefully the rest of his coaching career if he's able to turn the Cowboys defense around...

Seriously, if he has success turning the defense around he's gone in 2 years.

If Dallas catches lightning in a bottle and goes all the way like I think they can, see ya Ryan!

Beat me to it. I don't remember losing a coordinator that we wanted to keep because of a head coach position.

If they're good enough, Jerry will pay them like a head coach. Simple as that.

Sean Payton got run out of town.

1 year, we win the SB and he`s atta here ;)

I agree, and if not this year, the next. I will be surprised if he goes into a 3rd year here.

I agree he'll eventually be a head coach somewhere and if we win the Super Bowl he's probably gone. However, if we're on the cusp and he believes that he can get a ring here I think he'll stay.
