Ive been an advocate for knee braces for the OL in practice.

The scarier scenario is Zack Martin going down with injury as his absence will leave the Dallas o-line with absolutely no veteran leadership and unfortunately puts Dak in serious harms way.

Ankle and knee sprains are a common injury for OL.

the risk can be minimized by knee braces during practice.

I expect Smith is going to struggle early in the season with penalties, the guy spent all training camp at guard and I believe today was his first day at tackle.......big learning curve IMO
