Weeden can't play good enough to combat this crazy defense. he at best is a bus driver not the savior. i'm just glad Dallas has something now that orton has decided to take his ball and go home. That, or jerry decided for him. either way it is what it is.

If Romo goes down we are stairing 4-12 in the face. book it.

I thought he was a terrific qb at Oklahoma State..surprised he struggled at Cleveland.

I think a change of scenery and better coaching, receivers and o- line could be what he might need to regain that success he had at college.

i was impressed by his mobility more than anything else last night.

i know he has the arm strength and touch already.

he also showed toughness on that td throw to hanna.....because he got lit up on that throw.

I'll be that guy. I'll want Weeden to start if it's apparent that romo is a step down from last year.

I think with enough time and enough weapons with emphasis on the run game, he wouldn't be much worse than a severely declined Romo.

Plus, the talent is there, IMO, he's got the tools to be around top 15 which is good enough to win. Whether it ever comes to fruition remains to be seen, but the only way to ever find out is to give him more reps.

He did okay last night, but I would be shocked if anyone started calling for Weeden to start; he seemed to be afraid of going deep, which would be an issue for Linehan. Dustin Vaughan on the other hand...

Weeden looked ok, but only managed to put up 7 points........................................no threat to Romo with those numbers.
