The team I REALLY dont want to see win another is Pittsburgh, not just because theyd be the first to 7, just like they were 1st to 6. But I also currently live 70 miles from Pittsburgh, the "stairway to 7" slogan will drive me nuts!

Fact of the matter is the Eagles as an organization have been the class of the NFCE since 1996.

If you don't win the SB, but someone else in ur division does, it makes YOU not winning it not seem so bad.

It's more about recognizing that more often than not, over the last decade and, frankly, the last 25 or so years, that the Eagles have simply been the better run franchise. And it's actually not even all that close. In reality, we are much closer to the Commanders in comparison than Philly.

Jerry has screwed this organization good after letting Johnson go and then being unable to rebuild what Jimmy built after Switzer steered that uber talented Johnson team to its last SB.

You can think it's "crowning" but for some it's simply acknowledging reality.

If we can't win the super bowl, my next choice is the team that puts the most egg on Jerry's face. Howie Roseman and the Eagles own Jerry. I'd love to see Dan Quinn take Washington to an NFC title game. Dan Campbell in Detroit is a personal hero after pretty much urinating on our home field right in front Jerry in one of the most embarrassing losses of Jerry's reign.

The only team left in the NFL I can't stomach is SF. I still hate that franchise.

It wouldn't bother me.....the best team should win and right now, they are one of the best teams. They wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't lose any sleep of it. If the the Cowboys are in the mix, then yeah, I'd be pissed, but if not......meehh.

That stuff used to bother me, I hated nothing more than seeing Philly/Washington win big games. Its hard to be upset about division rival success when the Cowboys wasted a year though. At this point I'm all for anything that puts more pressure on Jerry. Not rooting for Philly, but I'm watching the league this year with a lot less emotion and just enjoying good football.

Living in the philly area yea this is by far worst case scenario. Its stomach turning having to deal with and listen to Eagles fam how great they are. Bills, Chiefs, Lions, Ravens, Packers, literally anyone other than Philly.

I think it is very possible they will win the SB. They put together a really good team. Give them credit. And despite drafting last, I suspect somehow they will still figure out a way to draft better than Jerry.
