How many gamers do we have here?

I am just curious how many of you consider yourself gamers? If you are a gamer, what platforms do you game on (PC, Xbox, Playstation 2, etc.)? What are your favorite games?

I would consider myself a gamer about to retire. I spent alot of time as a kid and teen playing video games and I took it up again in college. I still play sports games on a PS2 and I just bought a PSP for travel reasons. I play a few PC games like Rome total war and Battlefield 2, but not much else. The only PS2 games I play now are NCAA 2006 and Fight Night Round 2. I tried to play a non sports game in Metal Gear Solid 3, but I just don't have the time or patience anymore.

I used to play a lot more than I do now. Work, kids and school don't allow me to play as much as I would like.

I like computer RPGs. I am currently playing Guild Wars and am about to buy WoW. I don't play consoles much except for Tiger Woods on PS2.

I am going to buy a PSP one day soon. I travel quite a bit for work and it would come in handy while sittin' in airports.

My business partner just bought a PSP for one of his kids and I was blown-away by how awesome the screen is on that thing! It is a thing of beauty. I was watching a movie on it and I figured it would be tiresome watching on such a small screen, but it is actually deceptively big, and so clear that it was easy to watch. The graphics on the one game he had also looked amazing!

I'm tempted to go out and get one myself.

I'm a pc gamer only. I had an xbox and sold it. I don't have the patience for it like I used too. Back in the good old days of DOS I used to spend hours playing Doom.

PC Gamer and Xbox mainly. My son has a Ps2 and GameCube-SNES-N64 and the new DS. Im getting him a PSP for his birthday. Mainly because of all the cool movies out for it now. Its a slick little unit. Ive checked it out many times now at Best Buy. He should dig it.

Most of the games that take up my time are MMORPGS. Ive played many over the past 10 years. Im settling down more now so I dont see myself playing as much as I normally do. I just dont have the time anymore.

I would consider myself a gamer because I've always been a computer addict. My old man was a programmer and we had an Atari 2600, TRS 80, Apple IIe, NES, really... anything that hit the market. I usually buy everything that comes out just because I'm a tech junkie, but I've really gone away from consoles and handhelds, and mainly stick with PC gaming these days. The only game I still play on a console is NBA Live, NCAA or Madden, but every once in a while I'll find a console game I really dig. The last one I played that I thought was awesome was God of War because it reminded me of all those cheesy Jason & Argonauts or Clash of the Titans movies I used to love to watch when I was a kid. My favorite games are strategy games, football and basketball games, followed by rpgs. Those are really the only types of games I still play. If anyone is ever up for an online competition with Civilization, the Total War games, Europa Universalis or really, any historical strategy game, just let me know, I'm game.

Eh for me it wasn't worth the buy. I shoulda bought a portable DVD player instead. Once a good RPG comes out for it though I should play it a lot more.

I play PS2, XBox, and PC. I would call myself a Warcraft addict. Not really WoW. I hit lvl 40 and just stopped playing. Once I got my mount, I was like what's there to play for, but I still play WC III: FT.

I am also a huge Soccer Gamer - I only play the Winning Eleven Series from Japan - Which gets released here as WE8 and next in October WE9 ....FIFA by EASports is crap...

I was a console guy in college and early years still play them some I am more a MMO guy now
