i was dissapointed JJ didnt get a home run TD run and that he didnt top 100, but it seems like he opened the game up for DREW.

At one point i remember seeing 9 or 10 men in the box...

seemed like he couldnt get much going, do you think it was because they were daring us to pass?

i didnt see most of the game, so i am wondering if my guess is right?

This Chargers defense only allowed two 100-yard rushers last season. The fact Julius came so close to that mark, alone, impressed me. And, indeed, as you said, his performance opened things up for Drew.

He was stuffed early in the 4th but on the winning drive, he had two great runs at the end when needed.

I like Julius so much, I am willing to forget he played at Notre Dame :D

Julius also had a couple of big runs called back on holds.

He looks like he's still got all those lightening moves. However, he seemed to be better at salvaging 1 yard gains on plays with no blocking whereas last year he would frequently be stopped for a loss.

His hands also seemed better today - 3 catches and no drops. I do hope we try to get him isolated on LBs more throughout the year.

Very good game by JJ. Had Parcells not been intent on resting him, he would've easily surpassed a 100yds.

JJ did do a good job of sometimes making something out of nothing. Fortunately, the skins don't have a 350 lb nose tackle that will shove AL Johnson five yards beind the line of scrimmage.
Was frustrating to see the screen pass fail again. The lineman just arent getting out there and making blocks in space, we'llme ever get it right?
