think the Giants "gift" from the NFL this year has aided their playoff hopes? I do not agree one bit with the NFL allowing them to play the Saints at home....

Given Eli's record on the road I certainly think this was a gift from the NFL

I think it helped, but was not the main reason they are in the playoffs. Even if the Saints win that game that should not have been played in New York, the Cowboys still do not make the playoffs and the Giants still win the East.

If Dallas does their job, Dallas is in the playoffs and the Giants are sitting at home. Dallas needed to beat N.Y. at the Meadowlands and they didn't. That game basically decided the division. Dallas wins and then beats the Rams to end the season and they have the NFCE and the Giants are sent packing.

Or the Commanders, not sure how that tiebreaker would have worked out.

I think the Gift we gave the Commanders on Monday night is the gift that hurt the most.

The Giants are good, but road games are enervating for teams tearing away at overall stamina.

That also gave the Giants an early win which helped their confidence and simultaneously destroyed the Saints' season. Here the Saints were going to celebrate their win over Carolina with a grand, emotional, homecoming and they ended up at bleak Giants Stadium in the heart of enemy territory totally abandoned by the NFL.

This line of thinking is just making excuses. The Giants :jints: won their way into the NFCE champs. We could have taken their spot but we played a really poor game and our D let us down as well as our OL. Then the Skins :skins: did the same thing to us. These games were on OUR team! We win those two games and we are in the playoffs....period :bang2:

I hope this is the last of "the Giants got an extra home game" stuff. It mattered but not nearly as much as our team not being ready for two critical games :abuseme:

On a serious/side note.

I was looking through some tattoo flash and seen some eyes very close to the ones you use in your avatar.

Did you find that pic from a tattoo flash site?

who knows if the Giants would have lost that "road" game at home?

But if the records where tied, the Skins would have the homegame this weekend.

The game would have still been against the Saints. It doesn't matter.

Don't be too sure. The Giants were up 10-6 going into the 4th quarter against the 49ers, with CODY PICKETT at QB.

Does it really matter? Our Cowboys didn't play well enough at the end of the season to deserve making the playoffs.

Precisely, the Saints weren't going to win if they played on the moon, or in New Orleans.

I dunno. I hear Brooks KILLS in zero G. You can throw a pass backwards, and have it travel around the moon in orbit, and to your intentional reciever. Aaron Brooks for Moon MVP!

More excuses....

Anybody really think the Saints would have beaten the Giants on any field in America?

I dont

The Giants got into the Playoffs on their own merit.

Nope. I found them on a site for Jack-O-Lantern patterns. I can't remember which site. I just googled it at the time.

Are you saying the defense let them down in that Giants game or just in general? The Dallas defense played pretty well in that Giants game. They were put in bad field position the whole game and still only gave up 10 points, kept N.Y. under 4 yards per carry and caused Eli to have his worst performance of the year.

Well, if it turns out to be the Giants against the Patriots...Living in CT there will be a slew of great parties I could attend.
