How many QBs do you guys expect to go before our pick at #24?

Will a team want to move back up in the first round to get a QB?

What sort of premium would you want to move out of the first round to say —the first 5 picks of the second round?

What do you think the talent drop off is from 24 to the early 2nd round?

maybe but Detroit is sitting at 32 and they might be the team that wants to grab a QB late in the 1st.

No premium this year. Might be like the year we traded down to get Fred and only netted a 3

Not much since only 14 to 16 first rd grades.

I think Willis and Pickett do. I think teams are going to position themselves to start considering around #10. I look at teams like the Jets and Texans, even the Eagles, all whom have had multiple first round picks and who wouldn't mind trading down, grabbing more assets while still being able to hit their draft needs.

I think Saints are taking Willis with one of their two picks unless someone beats them to the punch.

 

[Verdict]

This is the hardest draft to peg in recent memory in terms of the QBs. Teams tend to force QBs up the board. Trubisky was a guy who rose to the top of the draft board in a weak QB class, and that hasn’t turned out so well.

This class may not have a single QB worthy of a first round pick, but my guess is that some will be taken in round one. How many, and how many before #24 is an interesting question.

If one hasn’t been selected before #24, teams might want to move up and take one if there is competition for one they can’t wait to fall to them in the second round.
