come on people...you cant blame every single deep ball thats misplayed or burns us on a DB

when your defense NEVER knocks a QB down, or even gets in their face, bad things are going to happen...good defenses probably would have eaten that WR pass up, instead he had a perfect shot down field...

we just dont play defense in the other teams backfield, especially on passing downs...no DB's can cover as long as our guys are expected to

I thought Roy played well for the most part. But the PI penelty really hurt. And if he just stayed away that ball wasn't gonna be caught. What really hurts him the most is that our staff puts him in so many bad situations.

Ok, I'm sure your pretty good or whatever, but I'm saying in that play I could have done better then running right into the WR, not even look at the ball, and then wondered why there is a flag.

yeah, that's why ROy has 3 INTs, 2 coming off deep balls

so the fact that nobody on our defensive front got into the backfield (as usual) is ok?

even players that suck as bad as James Thrash can get open if you give the QB's 12 seconds to throw almost every time

this is THE WORST pass rushing team I have EVER seen...every year you think it will be different...every year we add more good players, and EVERY year it gets worse

memo to people like you, long passes are supposed to be LOW percentage plays...they work so much against us because we never bother the QB

Roy's only problem was not catching an easy INT

his pass interference call was a good play on his part. Newman got beat, it was an easy touchdown and Roy prevented the TD...in the end it didn't matter cause they scored later, but still, in regards to that play, that's a smart penalty

He played great...On that fourth down early in the game, I think he was the first to hit the RB on 3 out of four downs.

Don't get me wrong, I think Roy Williams is a good player. I was very happy when we drafted him, expecially over the Texas CB, forgot his name. Roy is just overrated, unless he improves his coverage skills.

Roy is an intimidating player, but he has serious issues in coverage. Switch him to WLB.
